Electrical Foreman

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical projects and ensure that all work is completed on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate must have experience running jobs, as well as laying out crews. This role requires effective supervision, project scheduling, and quality control to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. We need experienced foreman capable of not only running jobs but teaching as well. Responsibilities • Supervise and manage electrical construction projects from inception to completion. • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to guide project execution. • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and quality standards. • Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for electrical projects. • Provide training and guidance to journeyman as well as apprentices on best practices in electrical work. • Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship. Skills • Strong understanding of construction budgeting, and scheduling. • Experience in managing construction sites with a focus on safety and efficiency. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. • Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to electrical work. • Excellent supervisory skills with a proven track record of leading teams effectively. • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in all aspects of work. As an onsite project leader, this role ensures successful project completion by supervising electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within commercial and industrial settings. Key Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED. • Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours). • An active Journeyperson’s License. • Knowledge of building construction methods, NEC electrical code, permit requirements, and safety procedures. • Competence in reading and following blueprints and electrical schematics. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel. • Experience with Bluebeam. • Ability to travel regionally to project sites as needed.
