Key Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and equipment in a manufacturing environment. • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in industrial machinery, production lines, and facility infrastructure. • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components to ensure operational reliability and safety. • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to facilitate repairs and installations. • Adhere to all safety regulations, electrical codes (e.g., NFPA 70E), and company policies. • Calibrate and test electrical components, instruments, and control systems using appropriate testing devices. • Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other automation control systems for diagnostics and minor programming adjustments. Recommended Qualifications • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification. • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in industrial electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams. • Strong knowledge of PLC systems, motor controls, and variable frequency drives (VFDs). • Adherence to NFPA 70E, OSHA, and Lockout/Tagout safety procedures. This position requires proven electrical and mechanical aptitude and experience as an apprentice electrician, a journeyman, mechanical and electrical construction trades person. This position may be responsible for material and equipment takeoffs and coordinating delivery to project sites, high and low voltage installations, fire alarm and security system installations/maintenance, maintaining as-built drawings, and ensuring electrical construction sites and work areas are organized and clean.
