Overview As a pivotal member of the Sunrun retail team, you will embody the essence of our brand within designated partner retail stores, playing a vital role in influencing potential customers. This role requires you to proactively schedule appointments and contribute to expanding the Sunrun customer base. Potential Earnings: While the average compensation ranges from $45,000 to $60,000 (location and personal success dependent), our top performers can earn up to an impressive $160,000+ per year. Qualifications/How You Will Be Successful: • Success in this role relies on strong communication skills, willingness to learn, self-motivation, and a genuine passion for our mission. • You'll need to commit to a flexible retail schedule, including weekends, evenings, and occasional holidays, to maximize your sales success and earning potential. • Reliable transportation within a 15-30 mile radius (on average) is essential for managing a multi-store territory. • This role requires standing and being mobile for extended periods including the ability to lift up to 25 pounds as part of daily responsibilities in a retail environment. Construction Manager – Utility-Scale Solar & BESS (EPC)

About Summit Energy Summit Energy is a leading renewable energy company specializing in the design and construction of Photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across California. We are committed to excellence, safety, and innovation in every project we deliver. SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Manager to oversee the construction of our PV and BESS projects. This role ensures that projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Construction Manager serves as the on-site leader, coordinating teams, managing subcontractors, and ensuring full compliance with codes, regulations, and company standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Partner with the Project Manager during the construction phase to manage, forecast, and report on progress, schedule, issues, conditions, system signoffs/acceptance, logistics, equipment, and materials. • Serve as the primary on-site liaison between Summit Energy, customers, subcontractors, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, codes, and installation manuals. • Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, maintaining adherence to safety, quality, and performance standards. • Provide routine written and verbal reporting to management, including daily reports, RFIs, project schedule updates, change orders, inspection reports, and safety and quality control (QC) documentation. • Review and interpret project documents—plans, specifications, contracts, submittals, installation manuals, code books, proposals, and safety standards (OSHA, SWPPP, etc.). • Provide technical leadership and field supervision to ensure on-time, on-budget project completion. • Coordinate with engineers and the Project Manager to resolve discrepancies using a formal RFI process. • Manage material deliveries, coordinate inventory tracking with subcontractors, and ensure timely availability of materials and equipment. • Proactively identify and address potential shortages in materials, staffing, services, and equipment. • Ensure all construction meets Summit Energy’s quality standards, verifying subcontractor QA/QC programs and coordinating inspections with Summit’s QC personnel. • Oversee subcontractor safety programs, verifying adequate safety measures and confirming implementation by designated safety officers. QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum 10 years of construction management experience, preferably in renewable energy projects (PV and/or BESS). • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent technical or military experience preferred. • OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety certification preferred. • Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record required. • Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical systems, wiring, conduit installation, and familiarity with civil and structural trade practices. • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), International Building Code (IBC), and other applicable standards for PV and BESS installations. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and clients. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other standard construction management software. • Highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. • Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time, with extended stays at project sites as needed. • Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs., climbing stairs, and working in varying weather conditions. • A proactive, team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and effective problem-solving skills.
