Solar O&M Technician – San Jose/Fremont, CA Area Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Solar O&M Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair existing solar ground mount and commercial rooftop systems in the San Jose/Fremont, CA area. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in Solar Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and the flexibility to travel as needed. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct electrical and mechanical inspections, preventative maintenance, infrared (IR) scanning, torque checks, and assess overall site conditions. • Prepare detailed inspection and service reports following site visits, emergency repairs, equipment modifications, and troubleshooting activities. • Respond to system alarms and provide timely dispatch to address issues. • Collaborate with the Senior Technician and O&M team to ensure efficient resolution of maintenance tasks. • Maintain optimal site performance by ensuring systems operate at full power and efficiency. • Perform site conditioning and vegetation control to support operational needs. • Promote a safe work environment by strictly following company safety protocols and procedures. • Audit and enforce compliance with site-specific O&M standards and guidelines. • Conduct site/system assessments and perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) inspections.
