As a Lead Generator, your mission is simple: start conversations with shoppers, explain the benefits of solar, and collect information from interested homeowners. No hard selling. No closing. Solar Service Technician

Solar Technologies, a leading Bay Area solar contractor, is seeking an experienced Solar Service Technician to be responsible for coordinating service requests, troubleshoot and make sure all service issues are resolved. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Manage Customer Communication On-Site • Clearly communicate the scope of work, any issues identified, and next steps with customers and Service Manager. 2. Complete Service Timely and Efficiently • Perform service tasks according to company procedures and within the scheduled timeframe. • Maintain high-quality workmanship and service standards. 3. Bill Customers After Service • Accurately bill customers for services immediately after completion of the visit. 4. Manage RMAs and Track Manufacturer Cases • Process and track Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) and manufacturer cases. 5. Coordinate with the Service Manager on Scheduling • Communicate with the Service Manager regarding scheduling, visit timing, and follow-up visits. 6. Prepare for Site Visits • Review case notes and customer information before site visits. • Assess safety concerns and necessary materials based on site maps. 7. Maintain and Stock Service Vehicle • Keep the service vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and materials. • Report any vehicle maintenance needs promptly. 9. Update Jobber and Upload Site Visit Notes • Record detailed notes in our field service management tool after each visit. • Upload relevant photos to our field service management tool for documentation. Essential Skills: • Experience in solar and/or battery field service, maintenance, or a related technical role. · Valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and efficiently. • Proficiency in using service management software (e.g., Jobber).
