Traveling Foreman - Commercial Solar

About the position Transform Energy, a full-service solar, energy storage, and O&M provider, is seeking a Traveling Foreman to lead and direct a team on commercial solar projects primarily in Southern California. This role involves overseeing installations, maintenance, and other assigned work, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. The Foreman will be responsible for providing instruction and training to team members, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and may lead safety meetings as directed by the Construction Manager. Communication with Superintendents, Engineers, and various managers is essential to keep all parties informed about project progress and any potential issues that may arise. The position requires extensive travel, including overnight stays, to various job sites across Southern California, such as Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties, as well as potential travel to Northern California for ongoing projects. The Foreman will be tasked with installing solar panels and all electrical components of installations, ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards. This role also includes inspecting electrical systems, managing job site materials and tools, and maintaining consistent communication with customers throughout the construction phase. In addition to technical skills, the Foreman will provide leadership to the team, conducting performance evaluations, recommending salary adjustments, and resolving personnel issues as needed.
