Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing solar panels and supporting the overall solar energy system setup. Responsibilities - Install solar panels on rooftops or other structures according to project specifications - Assist in assembling racking systems and mounting solar panels - Connect panels to inverters and electrical systems - Test and commission solar energy systems - Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes - Maintain tools and equipment in good condition - Work with/manage a small team for installs. - Conduct Site Survey's and Inspections for our Customer's Requirements - Experience with power tools - Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and understand construction site layouts - Knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage, and fixture installation - Previous experience as a commercial electrician is a plus - Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations - Proficiency in blueprint reading for solar panel installations Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: • Paid time off Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday • Weekends as needed Supplemental Pay: • Bonus opportunities • Commission pay • Overtime pay Work Location: On the road
