Job Overview GSRCONTRACTORS We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation of solar energy systems, demonstrating proficiency in both high and low voltage work. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for ensuring that solar panels are installed safely and efficiently on various types of roofs and structures. Responsibilities • Install solar panel systems on residential and commercial rooftops according to design specifications. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for fixture installation and system setup. • Work collaboratively with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. • Follow all safety protocols while working at heights and around electrical systems. • Interpret schematics and blueprints to accurately build solar energy systems. • Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) during installations. • Conduct quality checks on installations to ensure functionality and safety standards are met. • Assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise during or after installation. Qualifications • Previous experience in solar installation or related construction work is preferred. (minimum 2 years) • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in fixture installation. • Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems is essential. • Familiarity with reading schematics and understanding building codes, particularly NEC standards. • Ability to work on rooftops and at heights safely. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. • A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites. Commercial Solar Superintendent

Description: This is a full-time, direct placement role at Citadel Roofing and Solar. Citadel Roofing and Solar is a well-established fast growing fully integrated roofing and solar company with more than 30 years of contracting experience, and a stellar reputation of service excellence to new construction homebuilders and homeowners throughout Northern, Central, and Southern California. We are looking for an experienced, results and safety driven Commercial Solar Superintendent with proven experience. This position is based in our Vacaville office but will require daily jobsite visits throughout Northern California. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities: • Lead crews • Responsible for implementing safety requirements • Manage and lead the labor force, ensuring all responsibilities are being met. Monitor work performance and productivity to ensure procedures, safety requirements, etc. are maintained • Ensure that necessary materials and equipment are on site to support the schedule. Advise Project Manager of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties, etc.; assist in avoiding and resolving such problems • Responsible for workmanship and conformity with drawings and specifications • Accountable for care and use of company fleet, equipment and tools • Complete daily and weekly work progress and work schedule forecasts • Oversee and mentor crew on technical and managerial guidance • Assist Project Manager in ensuring high level of customer interaction and satisfaction with customer field points-of-contact • Provide crews with information and correct resources necessary to complete their duties • Understand the budget for specific project tasks and ensure that budget expectations are met • Resolve complaints and grievances within field work force in a timely and proactive manner Compensation and Benefits: Citadel Roofing and Solar offers a competitive compensation package.
