Solar Service Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on solar PV systems Diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues, inverter faults, communication errors, and equipment failures Replace and repair system components such as inverters, combiner boxes, fuses, breakers, wiring, and modules Conduct I-V curve tracing, thermal imaging, insulation testing, and other diagnostics Document all work through detailed service reports and maintain accurate records Follow company safety procedures and adhere to OSHA and NEC standards Travel to customer sites within assigned territory, occasionally on short notice QUALIFICATIONS A combination of hands-on experience in solar PV installation plus experience in service/maintenance role in a commercial or utility-scale. Strong understanding of PV system design, components, and performance metrics Proficient in using electrical testing tools (multimeter, clamp meter, I-V curve tracer) Comfortable working independently in the field, often in outdoor environments and on rooftops Familiar with major inverter brands (e.g., SMA, Fronius, SolarEdge, Enphase, etc.) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (company vehicle will be provided) OSHA 10 (minimum); OSHA 30 and/or NFPA 70E certification a plus NABCEP PV Professional or Installer certification preferred WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Advanced Solar Field Service Technician (Operations and Maintenance)

Your Impact The Advanced Solar Field Service Technician (Operations and Maintenance) in the PEARCE Renewables Solar Operations and Maintenance Division performs tasks involving physical labor at solar energy sites near Stockton, California. The Solar Field Service Technician is responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of solar power plants in accordance with established preventative and corrective maintenance standards while always maintaining safety and professionalism. These are local sites-candidates should reside within 50 miles of the Stockton, California areas. Core Responsibilities • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of Solar Utility and Sub-Station equipment. • Responsible for documentation including, but not limited to, work orders, time logs, inventory control, and emergency information schedules. • Provide a working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical components with help and use of digital multi-meters, meggers, amp clamps, and similar equipment. • Testing/troubleshooting installed Solar equipment and ensuring proper working order. • Must have a strong safety background with experience in Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA). • Able work in a solo as well as a group environment. • Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee Handbook and insurance requirements. Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs. Core Experience • 2-3+ years' experience in Commercial/Industrial operations and maintenance (O&M) on solar power plants is preferred. • Preventative maintenance experience on Solar Utility equipment is preferred. • Candidates should possess strong mechanical and electrical experience with troubleshooting and installation skills. • Specific solar experience with Inverters, Tracker Systems, or Sub-Stations Equipment (TMEIC/SMA/Sungrow/Nextracker/ATI, etc.) is preferred. • Takes initiative to escalate issues at site. • Ability to train, mentor, and develop laborers into Apprentices. • High aptitude and a strong work ethic are a must. Physical/Work Environment At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA Standards. • Must live within approximately 50 miles of the Stockton, California areas. • Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors. • Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds). • Employment may require working on weekends and holidays, including an "on call" service availability via telephone/text message. • Travel requirements dependent on support of the company (up to 25% travel). Solar Electrician

MPU TECHNICIAN Empower Solar is a full service, residential solar installer looking for experienced and driven individuals to join our ever-growing team! The MPU Technician is responsible for completing residential service panel upgrades in order to accommodate the solar back feed for a project. Additional duties include reviewing photos of upcoming jobs, coordinating with warehouse for material, and communicating project status and photos with Project Coordinator and Management. Minimum Qualifications: • Minimum 3-year residential electrical experience. • Strong understanding of NEC codes. • Previous experience completing service upgrades. • Knowledge of residential solar. • Ability to tie in existing solar system to main panel. • Ability to lift 40 pounds occasionally throughout the day. • Ability to work safely with heights on ladders and in confined areas. • Experience complying with OHSA safety requirements and regulations. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • High school diploma or equivalent.
