Your Key Responsibilities • Rotate in departments related to the trade to complete 8000 on-the-job training hours and successfully complete related classroom instruction specific to the trade • Work closely with a Mechanic (Electrician) in conducting preventative and corrective maintenance of the building, machinery and equipment • Completes work-orders in a timely and efficient manner under the supervision of a journeyperson, attends classes as required for apprenticeship, and troubleshoots equipment • Requires a highly motivated individual who is willing to learn and apply acquired skills • Overtime as well as weekend and holiday work hours are required Your Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent • Mechanical and/or Electrical aptitude and knowledge • Hands-on learner • Enthusiastic about their career in skilled trades • Excellent communication ability (written & verbal) • Positive work ethic • Problem solving skills • External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship Our Offering The Schaeffler Apprenticeship Program is State certified through Apprentice Ohio and nationally recognized.
