Job description We are an induction melting equipment rebuild facility supporting the foundry industry and are seeking a Mechanical Engineer. The ideal candidate will provide engineering support for our production team as well as supplier and customer inquiries. This is an entry to mid-level position. Key Responsibilities • Support the design, documentation, and validation of induction melting systems and related components. • Assist with engineering new and retrofit solutions for induction furnaces and foundry processes. • Prepare engineering documentation packages including drawings, BOMs, and fabrication specs. • Use CAD and simulation tools to design and analyze components. • Contribute to cross-functional projects from prototype to production. ________________________________________ Qualifications • Associate Degree in Engineering from an accredited University required (Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred) • Experience or internship in the manufacturing field. • High proficiency (or coursework experience) in CAD modeling (AutoCAD or Inventor), Microsoft Office and general computer skills. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. • Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate with customers and suppliers. • Experience in estimating labor and materials a definite plus.
