Maintenance Mechanic

We are looking to hire a key member of our Maintenance team at our Dover, Ohio location. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance on process and production equipment throughout the facility. Duties may include but are not limited to pipe fitting, welding, sheet metal fabrication, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment, installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment and preventative maintenance with the goal of improving facility and process reliability. Work shifts are rotational and may include 8- or 12-hour shifts, which will be days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays. Hourly rate is $33.91. Key Responsibilities • Observe all OSHA and facility safety rules and regulations including the use of personal protective equipment; report all injuries, accidents and hazards immediately • Perform mechanical, electrical, electronic repair and preventive maintenance • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs in a timely manner • Read equipment manuals as needed assure appropriate operation and repair of equipment • Complete, and maintain efficient and accurate paperwork as needed • Install and Dismantle Equipment • Mechanical Tools, Equipment, and Systems • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with specifications and codes • Computer skills - Able to use available computer systems and MS Office products with little or no assistance • Communicating effectively and working with others – Able to work with peers and engineering support to develop and implement solutions to problems/issues • Problem Solving / Troubleshooting – Able to obtain, analyze and interpret data/information and develop solutions to issues/problems • Read Technical Drawings and Blueprints • Troubleshooting Required Skills • Calculate Dimension/Tolerance • Pipefitting, pipe assembly and installation – Preferred • Steam tracing repairs • Equipment Lubrication • Install and Dismantle Equipment • Pump rebuilds and installation – preferred • Maintain Equipment • Mathematics Knowledge • Knowledge and understanding of up to 480v electrical circuits – preferred • Mechanical Tools, Equipment, and Systems • Operate Machines • Repair Machines and Equipment • Troubleshooting • Chemical industry experience is a plus • Must have Industrial experience Education, Certifications & Licenses • High School Diploma Required • 4-year maintenance apprenticeship or journeyman certification or similar structured training program with equivalent work experience is required -------------------------------------------------- The statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this classification. Landfill Design Engineer

This position will consult with management to determine how to meet project goals; manage and perform engineering tasks, calculations, and evaluations; prepare reports; perform feasibility studies; and develop engineering plans and specifications. It will provide an opportunity to work on projects focused on solid waste management, landfill cell and closure design, landfill expansion, solid waste facility design and operation support. Responsibilities and Duties: • Design, permitting, construction specification/preparation, construction administration/management, and construction of documentation of solid waste and other environmental-related engineering services. • SPCC plans, environmental impact assessments, non-metallic mining reclamation plans, construction site stormwater permits and stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), and various engineering plans. • Contract development and administration, business development, client maintenance, project budget review and monitoring. • Developing solid waste facility designs, landfill siting and permitting, landfill gas-to-energy facility design and operation, construction and landfill operations, air permitting and permit applications. • Controlling project plan by reviewing design, specifications, schedule changes, and recommending actions. • Maintain project schedule by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems. • Active participation in multiple functions of the business including but not limited to project planning and budgeting, accounting, contract negotiation, legal and regulatory interaction, general operations, and maintenance. • Coordination of internal and external resources to successfully obtain objectives within set deadlines.
