The Mechanical Engineer with be a part of the Plant Engineering team. This team helps implements capital projects and provides engineering support for the Consumable and Machine divisions of the Cleveland Operations. Mechanical engineers are responsible for the mechanical aspects of the projects including facilities preparation, equipment designs and equipment installations. They also provide support for production and work on improvements to the existing equipment and facilities to improve health and safety, productivity, quality, and cost. Required Education & Experience • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering. • Minimum of 3+ years professional experience: Level II Engineer • Minimum of 5+ years professional experience: Level III Engineer • Must have good judgment, be self-motivated and be safety conscious. • Strong desire to take ownership and drive results. • Ability to handle a variety of assignments and changing priorities. • Ability to perform hands on work as required and work effectively on the shop floor with employees and processes. • Ability to handle small to medium sized projects and day-to-day shop support with supervision. • Experience with Solid Edge CAD modelling software is preferred. • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EPA and OSHA standards is preferred.
