Mechanical Engineer-HVAC (Columbus)

Electrical Engineer We are an Ohio based mechanical and electrical consulting engineering firm with offices in North Royalton and Columbus established in 1993. We are seeking a full-time electrical engineer or electrical designer with at least 3 years of experience to support the growth and expansion of our business. The position would start as a electrical engineer/designer and potentially progress over time to project manager” or “project engineer. A brief description of the position is as follows: Responsibilities: • Position will involve electrical design for commercial, office, retail, healthcare, and other project types. • Apply design knowledge in power distribution, grounding, lighting, control systems, and equipment specifications and selections. • Preparation of schematics for various systems. • Collaboration with all disciplines to achieve completed coordinated design and reviewing the work of others. • Performance of on-site investigation to confirm existing conditions. • Developing familiarity with current electrical codes and standards. • Forming relationships with equal level personnel of other disciplines (architectural, electrical, structural civil, etc.) and manufacturing sales representatives. • Becoming familiar with and preparing general and electrical specifications. Skills & Abilities: • Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others. • Familiarity with system specific materials, components, and systems. • Basic knowledge of high mathematics relative to the work. • Oral and written communications skills. • Analytical ability to solve complex problems. • Working ability/knowledge of AutoCad. • Working ability/knowledge of REVIT is not required, but desired. Controls Engineer

Job Title: Controls Engineer • No relocation needed,will travel. Training will be conducted in Louisville, KY. • Once training is completed then the role will consists of traveling to customer sites. (More details below under Work Environment). Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Controls Engineer to perform L1 commissioning in the field at various customer sites throughout the East Coast. This role involves remote I/O checks, setting up IP addresses for VFD's, verifying device communications to PLC, and performing basic edits to PLCs. Responsibilities • Conduct L1 commissioning at different customer sites on the East Coast. • Perform remote I/O checks. • Set up IP addresses for VFD's. • Verify device communications to PLC. • Perform basic edits to PLCs. Essential Skills • Experience with commissioning in the field • Proficiency with Rockwell PLCs • Knowledge of VFDs and conveyer systems • Experience with automation and field service • Bachelor's Degree Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with HMI • Familiarity with device communications Work Environment This role involves traveling to customer sites throughout the East Coast, following a 10 days on, 4 days off schedule. Work will be conducted in the field, with meetings often held via MS Teams. You will have the opportunity to support major clients such as Amazon, UPS, USPS, and others like FedEx.
