Mechanical Maintenance (Manufacturing)

Mechanical Maintenance ROLE: This role must be proficient in breakdown response and preventative maintenance to maintain a state of the art facility; must also be able to perform maintenance equipment repairs and tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Successfully complete safety training, and demonstrate ability to comply with departmental safety policy and guidelines • Participate in WF’s 6-S Program (housekeeping) • Demonstrate ability to utilize process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions (DWIs) • Make necessary adjustments to machinery to ensure efficient operations • May do fabrication, machine repair, installation, basic construction type work or other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: • Education, equivalent experience, or actively pursuing a degree in Maintenance related field • Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift • Solid work history • Good oral communications • Understanding and following instructions • Problem solving • Dependable and responsible • Positive work attitude • Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule, while working without supervision • Must be proficient in the following: • Welding • Hydraulics • Pneumatics • Fabrication/Fasteners • Blueprint reading • Power transmission repair • Machine repair Education/Experience Requirements: • High School Diploma/GED equivalent If selected for consideration, candidates must successfully complete a selection process that includes interviews, aptitude tests, references verification, pre-employment drug screening, a pre-employment physical, and a job function test. Engineer 1 - Mechanical Engineer

Insight Global is currently searching for Mechanical Engineer for a large shipbuilding client supporting the U. S Navy. This Mechanical Engineer will be utilizing software's such as Navisworks and DDAM to conduct FEA analysis, these softwares can be taught, attending high level Navy meetings to speak to progress of project, meet deadlines and work scope to ensure NAVSEA compliance, FEA analysis will be conducted on foundation of the ship and its design. The ideal candidate will have a background in the maritime shipbuilding industry. The hourly rate for this role is between $26-32hr.
