Mechanical Maintenance (Manufacturing)

Mechanical Maintenance ROLE: This role must be proficient in breakdown response and preventative maintenance to maintain a state of the art facility; must also be able to perform maintenance equipment repairs and tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Successfully complete safety training, and demonstrate ability to comply with departmental safety policy and guidelines • Participate in WF’s 6-S Program (housekeeping) • Demonstrate ability to utilize process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions (DWIs) • Make necessary adjustments to machinery to insure efficient operations • May do fabrication, machine repair, installation, basic construction type work or other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: • Education, equivalent experience, or actively pursuing a degree in Maintenance related field • Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift • Solid work history • Good oral communications • Understanding and following instructions • Problem solving • Dependable and responsible • Positive work attitude • Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule, while working without supervision • Must be proficient in the following: • Welding • Hydraulics • Pneumatics • Fabrication/Fasteners • Blueprint reading • Power transmission repair • Machine repair Education/Experience Requirements: • High School Diploma/GED equivalent If selected for consideration, candidates must successfully complete a selection process that includes interviews, aptitude tests, references verification, pre-employment drug screening, a pre-employment physical, and a job function test. Mechanical Engineer

In this role, you will: The incumbent will serve as a Mechanical Engineer and work with a project team in the planning through execution of capital projects to deliver operating solutions for Kimberly-Clark’s (K-C) tissue asset base. Span of work for the Capital Execution team includes tissue machine, converting, and flushable wipes product systems. The incumbent will provide leadership and support to the development, design, installation, and start-up of equipment and ancillary systems to address capacity, capability, safety, and obsolescence needs. The incumbent will collaborate broadly across R&E, Supply Chain, Procurement, operating mills, along with key OEM equipment suppliers, technical service providers, and construction contractors. The incumbent will report to a Tissue Engineering Capital Execution (ECE) Senior Manager. Expectations Provide leadership by example in safety, ethics, quality, regulatory, and sustainability, and ensure that all elements of the corporate Human Resources Development and Diversity policy are fully supported. Manage self in accordance with our K-C Compass and the expected Ways of Working. Coach and mentor team members to increase technical understanding and ability to execute programs to improve Family Care’s business results. Support continuous improvement in the areas of safety, reliability, cost and timing in the execution of capital projects. Ensure the application of the North America Project Management Practices (PMP) to drive efficiency and continuous improvement. Develop and sustain a network across key OEM suppliers, technical service providers, and construction providers to assess equipment capability, integrate industry best practices, create value for K-C, and address execution risks or issues. Develop and maintain technical expertise in capital project execution and equipment capability, and communicate the impact of developments across K-C. Manage resources to ensure project milestones are met while accommodating dynamic project needs. Support project spending forecasts to within sector standards, through the application of the Project Spending Report (PSR) process. Implement appropriate internal controls and standards to ensure compliance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations. Drive a culture of protected and documented innovation to protect and defend K-C proprietary technology, products, and business processes through the appropriate use of patents, trade secrets, and formal documentation.
