ABOUT THE ROLE Join our team as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, where safety is our top priority. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our plant production and service equipment operates reliably and efficiently. Your contributions will help maintain the overall productivity and safety of our work environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform maintenance tasks on production and service equipment to keep them in optimal condition. • Maintain and organize tools used within the maintenance department. • Address and repair product spillage to maintain operational standards. • Safely operate equipment such as fork lifts, skid loaders, and teleforkers. • Utilize heavy equipment, including chainfalls and comealongs, for maintenance tasks. • Be available to work overtime as needed to fulfill maintenance demands. • Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. • Adhere to safety procedures while carrying out maintenance duties. • Follow standard work instructions to ensure equipment is utilized properly. • Commit to promoting a culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness in all activities. QUALIFICATIONS • Education: High School Diploma or GED required. • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related role.
