As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be essential in ensuring our production runs smoothly. You'll work directly with various equipment and systems, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, servo, and PC-based systems, while also assisting with general building maintenance. Role Overview This is a full-time, hourly position on the night shift, with no travel required. Education & Experience • Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or a similar field preferred, but relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities • Conducting preventative maintenance to ensure equipment runs efficiently. • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment when issues arise. • Installing and commissioning new equipment. • Running conduit, installing cable trays, and pulling cables and wires. • Installing and maintaining electrical drives, motors, and control systems. • Troubleshooting and programming PLCs. • Replacing and installing lighting fixtures and lamps. • Performing general building maintenance tasks. • Completing additional duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For • Strong troubleshooting skills and manual dexterity. • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints. • Solid electrical and mechanical knowledge, including AC, DC, low voltage, and 480V equipment. • Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting. • Comfortable working at heights with ladders and aerial platforms. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Basic computer skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team. • A strong sense of urgency and attention to detail. Work Schedule • Regular shift: Night shift, Sunday-Thursday, 10 pm - 6 am. • Initial training will take place during the first 120 days on the day shift, Monday-Friday, 6 am - 2 pm. • Some overtime and weekend work may be required.
