Mechanical Service Technician

Apply your expertise as a Field service technician in our Valmet Tissue Converting Team out of our Green Bay, WI office. Responsibilities The Mechanical Service Technician will be the face of Valmet while traveling to customer facilities and providing a high level of professionalism while servicing equipment. You will be asked to travel 60% and be responsible to work with customers and Project Coordinators on servicing existing equipment, new equipment installs, upgrades, and audits. In this role you will require close collaboration with cross functional teams including Sales, Spares, Tips & Mods, Engineering along with other Mechanical and Electrical Technicians at various customer locations. You will be responsible to travel, work with customers and colleagues in problem solving, assembling, and maintaining converting equipment. You need the ability to read pneumatic and hydraulic schematics to resolve issues along with being a quick learner in a fast-paced environment. Expectations Previous experience is preferred, including operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs or Two (2) year technical associate degree (Mechanical, or Mechatronics) or the equivalent combination of technical school training, military, or industrial experience required. Will need to be team oriented but also able to work individually and solve problems in a high stress and fast paced environment. Must be a problem solver and have a driven personality to learn new things. Ability to read drawings, schematics, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Job Description AECOM is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer who has a strong background in facilities-related mechanical engineering and HVAC design. This position is hybrid and you can report to the AECOM office closest to you. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below: • Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and judgement based on experience to design and construct HVAC and plumbing systems and equipment in buildings using building information modeling • Coordinate HVAC and plumbing systems with other disciplines to produce complete building system designs • Perform construction inspection and observation on active construction projects and create detailed reports • Review and revise existing standards of engineering techniques, procedures, and practices in building design and building information modeling • Participation in development of proposal responses, project planning, and staffing • Development of system related narratives (technical writing, organizing the document, development of graphics) • Ability to concisely express complex system solutions in very early design phases in order to share intent either internally for further development, or externally to assist design partners • Utilize Autodesk tools such as REVIT and CAD • Coordinate mechanical system design with electrical engineers, architects, and other design professionals • Review and edit technical specifications • Interact and work with diverse set of market types, clients, and subcontractors Qualifications Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering +6 years of industry engineering experience within a consulting or design-build firm or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Preferred Qualifications: • 8+ years of building mechanical systems design • Licensed Professional Engineer • Experience with sustainable design and certification • Experience with Design Build and other Alternative Delivery practices • Enjoy developing innovative solutions to challenging opportunities • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently • Proven success in leading pursuits and engaging long term clients • Laboratory, Federal, Water/Wastewater facility design experience • Steam system design experience • Experience with Life Cycle Cost Analysis Additional Information • Relocation assistance is not available for this role • Sponsorship is not offered for this role About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees. MEP Designer

Summary The MEP Designer plays a key role in the development of integrated building system designs. You will prepare accurate and coordinated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system drawings and models, ensuring compliance with project requirements, codes, and industry standards. This role requires a strong technical knowledge in mechanical systems. Responsibilities • Assist in design of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. • Prepare detailed design drawings and layouts using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other BIM tools. • Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and system layouts for HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing systems. • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of all systems. • Review and revise designs based on client feedback, engineering input, and site conditions. • Participate in design review meetings and provide technical input throughout the project lifecycle. • Maintain organized project documentation and revision histories. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP; knowledge of Navisworks is an advantage. • Solid understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. • Familiarity with industry codes and standards. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
