Position: Maintenance Technician Location: GMCH, Wyoming, Mi Position Purpose: Responsible for preventative maintenance, corrective and emergency repairs of facility equipment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Communication Skills - Ability to communicate with all levels of Leadec and customer employees as needed. • Language Ability -Talking to others to convey information effectively. • Ability to provide rapid response to emergency breakdowns. • Perform work on all related facility equipment. • Perform quick analysis and repair of mechanical issues on equipment. • Work from mechanical sketches, manuals, specifications, written or oral instructions. • Technically skilled to facilitate the recovery of at least 75% of equipment from a technical fault without assistance. • Technical ability to demonstrate sound methodology in the execution of the mechanical repairs of equipment and in providing long term resolution to equipment failures. • Prepare and set up equipment for production after repair. • Under minimal directions, work directly from a work order and/or lead jobs. • Experience with Pumps, Boilers/Steam, Chillers, Cooling towers and Fire suppression • Strong industrial mechanical, plumbing and pneumatic trouble shooting skills. • Provide support for emergency or unplanned repairs of facility equipment. • Troubleshoot basic to complex mechanical issues. • Must show ability to get to the root cause and make and implement recommendations to improve reliability. • Actively participates in team meetings. • Intermediate computer skills with use of excel, word.
