Expert Mechanical Design Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team based out of one of our Texas offices. The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering design using Trane Trace 700, or similar energy modeling tools. This position offers a unique opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic MEP Engineering environment. Key Responsibilities: • Project Execution • Plan and prepare engineered contract documentation for assigned projects • Work with or as a mechanical Project Manager to meet deadlines • Make engineering decisions and collaborate with other engineers, architects, and/or owners • Construction Support • Create mechanical and plumbing project construction documents, plans, and specifications • Conduct on-site visits to collect existing condition information, attend meetings, respond to construction inquiries, and report on-site observations Requirements: • Educational Background • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree • Professional Experience • A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering • Experience in Trane Trace 700 or similar energy modeling tools • Large central plant experience is a plus • Skillset • High-level interpersonal relationship skills • Proficiency in communication skills • Organization skills

Mechanical Assembly Shop Technician

Mechanical Assembly Shop Technician Pay Rate: $18/ hr. Shift: Monday thru Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm. Some Overtime RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: • Tearing down Valve Actuators • Organizing job crates during tear down • Blasting actuators • Maintaining a clean work area. • Managing tear down schedule with shop manager • Tearing down and prepping surplus for inventory • Painting actuators • Building Stem Protectors • Maintaining sand blasting equipment. Responsibilities: - Fabricate and assemble various components and equipment according to specifications - Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment - Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery and equipment - Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving technical issues Requirements: • Good with hand tools, power tools, and equipment. • Mechanical, electrical, and carpentry knowledge. • Ability to breed a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork. • Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner • Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working in the building. • Previous Automotive mechanic experience is a plus Skills: - Strong technical skills in fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of machinery and equipment - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities - Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
