Job Description Mechanic 1 Department: Asset Integrity Mechanical Job Status: Full Time FLSA Status: NonExempt Reports To: Maintenance Coordinator Location: Various states within the U.S. Amount of Travel Required: >95% Work Schedule: Positions Supervised: N/A • Rotational 2 weeks on 2 weeks off • Thursday to Wednesday shift (additional travel before and after) POSITION SUMMARY: The Mechanic 1 supports wellsite frac operations by performing tasks associated with maintenance and repair of fracturing equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "May.") • Troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs EVO equipment as needed. • Learns all the disciplines of rigging up equipment on location. • Performs daily mechanical frac equipment inspections. • Prepares documentation related to inventory equipment transfers. • Maintains accurate inventory of maintenance trailers. • Monitors pumping equipment during job for proper operations. • Monitors fluid levels on all frac equipment, ensuring all maintenance intervals are kept current. • Prepares, maintains, and repairs pumping and support equipment. • Works with crew to ensure they have parts needed to complete maintenance and repairs. • Conduct work observations of JSA safe work procedures and documents maintenance procedures and equipment operations. • Completes work orders in Pump Manager. • Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping practices in the MT trailer and respective work areas. • Performs proper oil sampling, post failure strategies and root cause investigations. • Conducts work in accordance with safety rules, standard operating procedures, best practices and workplace policies. • Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • Successfully passes background check and preemployment drug screening. • Forklift/sky track, crane, and manlift certified. • Possesses a valid U.S. Driver’s License. • Daily overtime required and in person, predictable attendance.
