Responsibilities • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components. • Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and analysis skills. • Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. • Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose and resolve automation system problems. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). • Conduct inspections on high voltage and low voltage electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures. • Support field service operations by diagnosing issues on-site at various locations within the facility or customer sites. • Use welding techniques specific to welding standards for repairs requiring metal fabrication or replacement. • Operate industrial equipment such as scissor lifts safely to access elevated areas during maintenance tasks. • Follow schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems effectively. • Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to high voltage, HVAC/R systems, and other hazardous environments. • Collaborate with technical sales teams when necessary to provide expert insights on product applications or system upgrades. Skills • Proven experience in industrial mechanic work within manufacturing facilities or similar environments. • Strong understanding of HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, electrical circuits (high voltage/low voltage), and welding techniques including welding standards. • Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. • Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems. • Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and scheduling. • Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools accurately. • Knowledge of industrial electrician practices including troubleshooting electrical issues in complex systems. • Experience operating scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely. • Strong analysis skills for diagnosing mechanical or electrical failures quickly and effectively. • Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or internal teams during field service operations. • Background in military service or industrial maintenance is considered a plus but not mandatory.
