Electro-Mechanical Technician

**Overview:** As an Electro-Mechanical Technician at Greif, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and machinery. You will work closely with other technicians and colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and ensure compliance with safety procedures and company protocols. **Responsibilities:** • Performs preventative maintenance in accordance with preventative maintenance procedures, including visual inspections, checks fluid levels, lubricates, and cleans parts, tightens and adjusts components, replaces parts, calibrates sensors and gauges • Visually inspects and tests equipment, detects malfunctions and discusses machine operations with various line staff • Dismantles, inspects, and replaces defective parts, installs new or repaired parts, and performs layouts, assemblies, and installations of pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment • Repairs or replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment, and installs and repairs electrical apparatus such as transformers and wiring • Maintains the physical structure of the establishment, including performing repairs and learning to perform more complex repairs • Installs machinery, platforms, and guards, and follows guidance from senior-level colleagues and assists junior-level colleagues with routine questions • Ensures compliance with operations and company safety procedures and practices • *Qualifications:** • Typically possesses High School diploma (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of experience • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • *Benefits:** • Competitive salary range: $21.44 - $36.54 • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, paid time off, and other competitive benefits available for eligible colleagues effective day one • Opportunity for growth and development within the company • Equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusivity

Commercial HVAC Service Technician - East Texas

Mechanical Concepts LLC is based in Shreveport. However, our service area is North Louisiana, Southwest Arkansas AND East Texas. We are looking for a HVAC technician who lives in East Texas and will work in EAST TEXAS and the surrounding area. Pay range: Negotiable, depending upon experience. Duties include preventive maintenance, commissioning and servicing of commercial HVAC systems including, chillers, VRV systems, boilers, pumps, and associated equipment and controls. An Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a Technical/Trade School with a Certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning is beneficial. This position requires strong technical aptitude and a solid work ethic. Factory training provided. Essential Functions: Duties include preventive maintenance, and servicing of commercial HVAC systems including, chillers, VRV systems, boilers, pumps, and associated equipment and controls. Start up and commissioning on new HVAC equipment including, chillers, VRV systems, boilers, pumps, and associated equipment and controls. Communication with other technicians, engineers, managers and clients. Job Summary: The Mechanical Designer is responsible for designing parts and assemblies, completing and releasing drawings that meet customer design requirements, industry specifications, and company standards. This role requires timely execution while working under the direction of the Technology and Innovation Manager. Key Responsibilities: · Design of HVAC/R product based on projects, sales and customer needs. · Create detailed and assembly drawings of standard and special machines · Develop and maintain accurate bills of materials for standard and special machines · Prepare a full range of simple and complex 3D/2D models of assemblies and components consisting of mechanical, piping products. · Designer works from sketches (red line), physical examples, computer models, and verbal information supplied by Product manager, Sales, or Customer. · Manage time effectively and maintain compliance with tight deadlines. Qualifications: · High school diploma (technical-mechanical specialization) or associate’s degree (preferably in mechanical drafting or similar). · 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role in a manufacturing company. · 1-2 years’ experience in HVAC/R is a plus. · Excellent knowledge of 3D CAD (Inventor preferred). · Knowledge/use of PLM (Teamcenter) and ERP (SAP) systems is a plus. · Good knowledge of the Office Suite. · Excellent knowledge of manufacturing design principles and analytical skills. · Bilingual English – Spanish is a plus. · Good interpersonal and communication skills.
