Mechanical Designer

Overview The Mechanical Designer is responsible for designing mechanical parts and assemblies, developing and releasing technical drawings that meet customer specifications, industry standards, and internal company requirements. This position ensures the accuracy and completeness of design documentation, including detailed part drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and manufacturing references. The Mechanical Designer works under the direct supervision of the Technology and Innovation Manager and must operate within established timelines to support product development, engineering changes, and production needs. Responsibilities: · Design HVAC/R products and components based on project specifications, sales input, and customer requirements. · Create detailed and assembly drawings for both standard and custom equipment using CAD software. · Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for standard and special production units. · Prepare complete 2D and 3D mechanical models, including complex assemblies and subassemblies involving mechanical and piping systems. · Interpret and translate design input from sketches, redline markups, physical prototypes, computer models, and verbal direction provided by the Product Manager, Sales Team, or Customer. · Ensure compliance with design standards, project timelines, and internal quality requirements. · Manage workload effectively to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and consistency in deliverables. Requirements/Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field (required). Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar mechanical design role. At least three (3) years of experience in the HVAC/R industry; knowledge of thermodynamics principles and heat exchanger sizing is strongly preferred. Specialized Skills and Requirements: · Proficiency in 3D CAD software is required (Autodesk Inventor preferred). · Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems such as Teamcenter, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, is a plus. · Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). · Strong understanding of manufacturing design principles and demonstrated analytical skills. · Effective interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills. Application Engineer

Overview The Applications Engineer serves as the primary technical liaison between customers, sales, and engineering teams. This role combines engineering expertise with customer-facing responsibilities—supporting equipment selection, preparing quotations, guiding design efforts, and ensuring that thermal and refrigeration system solutions meet performance, cost, and delivery requirements.
