In the role of Mechanical Designer, we'll count on you to: • Model HVAC, plumbing, and associated control drawings and perform elementary mechanical design of ductwork and piping systems for healthcare, education, science and technology, federal, and water/wastewater under the supervision of a Mechanical Engineer. • Route ductwork and piping and laying out of HVAC and plumbing equipment in 3D model space. • Conduct short-term field assignments at client facilities to support project work as needed. • Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications • Strong computer skills in Revit MEP, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD. Qualifications Required Qualifications • Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure • Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential • Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts What We Believe HDR is our company. Mechanical Engineer - Senior

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with our international client to source and hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Round Rock, TX. In this DIRECT HIRE position, you will review and approve mechanical designs for medium and low voltage products used in data centers. You’ll ensure structural integrity, thermal performance, and compliance with industry standards, while collaborating with overseas teams and supporting factory builds. Key Responsibilities • Review and approve 3D models and fabrication drawings for skids, enclosures, and assemblies • Verify structural design, lifting points, seismic/wind considerations, and transportation constraints • Evaluate thermal management for enclosed power modules • Maintain mechanical design standards, material specs, and corrosion protection requirements • Provide final engineering sign-off and resolve mechanical non-conformities during factory builds • Represent the company at customer meetings and technical conferences Qualifications • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred) • 5+ years mechanical design experience in heavy electrical equipment or industrial skids • Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks or similar) • Understanding of structural design, lifting/rigging, and thermal analysis • Familiarity with ASCE, AISC, AWS, ASHRAE standards preferred • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas or ability to obtain within 12 months • Mandarin proficiency is a plus for overseas collaboration Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Education: • Bachelor's (Required) Work Location: In person
