Provides technical expertise to Asset Operating Teams to keep plants, pipeline and compressor station equipment, liquid pump stations and pipelines safe, available, and efficient. Works with division technical team members to insure operations and maintenance activities are consistent across Area boundaries within the division. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below: • Responsible for the scoping, development, equipment specifications and execution of O&M and Capital projects. • Work with Engineering and Construction to assure effective design, installation, start-up and operation of mechanical systems. • Audit facilities to ensure compliance with Company standards, policies and practices, and governmental and industry codes. • Investigate, analyze, and make recommendations related to effectiveness and/or efficiency of presently installed and proposed equipment. • Candidate must have an excellent mechanical aptitude • Candidate must have the ability to work with mechanics having various experience levels. • Candidate expected to have experience with Low-Speed integral reciprocating compressors, High Speed separable reciprocating compressor and Turbine driven centrifugal compressors. • Candidate expected to have operation, maintenance, and administrative experience • Candidate should have effective written & verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills to work in a collaborative environment. • Candidate must be a self-starter, have good organizational skills, and be able to accept constantly changing priorities. • Willingness to work in an environment where compensation is tied to performance and skill level. Required Education: • Minimum High school diploma or GED • 6+ years of relevant work experience Required Qualifications: • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent human relations skills. • In-depth knowledge of Company procedures and Industry-related standards, codes and practices, and applicable Federal and State regulations. • Experience in executing and administering Company-wide programs. • Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment. • Must be highly motivated and able to work with minimum supervision. • Job duties require considerable analytical ability. • Incumbent works in an environment requiring resolution of complex problems in stressful situations. • The specialist is required to continually upgrade his/her technical training and knowledge of Company standards, policies and governmental and industry codes. • Incumbent must be able to handle rapidly shifting priorities and multiple projects concurrently. • Work in a functional team with peers geographically dispersed across the Division. • Interface with management and field personnel to ensure uniformity and consistency across Division. • Knowledgeable with Natural Gas Operating Procedures, Engineering Standards, OSHA and Safety practices. • Personal skills necessary to maintain a good rapport with internal and external customers. • Mechanical skills required with multi-skilled background preferred. • Work locations include onshore, & offshore natural gas compressor stations and onshore crude oil pump stations. • Have or be able to obtain TWIC card. • The Division Mechanical Specialist is responsible for the support of mechanical operations as it applies to daily activities and associated projects for assigned locations within the Division. The Mechanical Specialist’s responsibilities include technical support, training, project development and execution, O&M and Capital budget support and management, as well as support of corporate initiatives/projects. The Mechanical Specialist also works with operation locations to provide support for maintaining compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements related to emissions testing, overhaul management, as well as response and support of mechanical related emergencies. The Division Mechanical Specialist reports to the Director of Technical Operations. Engineer II - Mechanical

SUMMARY The Mechanical Reliability Engineer is tasked with assessing, designing, maintaining, and enhancing the reliability and performance of mechanical systems to ensure operational safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES May include, but are not limited to, the following: • Serve as a key member of the Area Improvement Teams, providing mechanical asset support and expertise. • Monitor equipment performance continuously, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) practices to improve asset dependability. • Develop and execute maintenance strategies such as preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime and prolong asset lifespan. • Evaluate risks associated with mechanical assets, conduct engineering assessments, and recommend risk mitigation strategies within the Risk Based Inspection program. • Investigate equipment failures to perform root cause analyses (RCA) and apply findings to prevent future occurrences. • Conduct fitness for service (FFS) evaluations on mechanical assets, considering damage mechanisms, to inform repair, run, or replace decisions. • Create repair or alteration scopes for assets based on engineering assessments and inspection recommendations. • Collaborate with capital project teams to ensure mechanical assets are designed for reliability, safety, and longevity, providing input on design specifications and plans. • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations, including compliance with ASME, API, and other industry standards. • Review and audit documentation related to equipment inspections, maintenance activities, and compliance, ensuring records are up to date. • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies in mechanical equipment maintenance and reliability. • Perform all duties with a commitment to personal and team safety, promptly reporting any safety, health, or environmental concerns to management. • Actively support and contribute to the company's continuous improvement and operational excellence goals, initiating projects or communicating ideas for improvement to management, and participating in project teams. • Uphold, support, and promote company policies and procedures. • Provide support during major site outages and turnarounds. • Undertake any other responsibilities or duties as required by business needs. Education, Experience and Qualifications • Possession of a current, valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card. • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. • A minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial mechanical asset design, operation, and/or maintenance. • Reliability and/or Maintenance Engineering experience in the chemical manufacturing industry is preferred, with an emphasis on petrochemical, liquefied natural gas, or petroleum refinery sectors. • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively. • Proficiency in relevant engineering codes, standards, and recommended practices (e.g., ASME, API, NBIC). • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CMMS asset management software. • Experience with SAP and engineering analysis software (e.g., Compress, Caesar, AMS Machinery Manager, Bently Nevada - System 1, PROGNOST) is advantageous. • A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset. • Leadership skills that include conflict resolution and driving change are essential. • Successful candidates must pass background screening, including motor vehicle record checks, drug testing, and a pre-employment physical.
