Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Port Lavaca, TX Full-Time $90,000 - $120,000 Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support operations at an industrial facility in Port Lavaca, TX. This role will focus on mechanical maintenance and reliability of utility systems, including steam generation, cooling water, compressed air, and other critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial mechanical systems and be committed to safety, efficiency, and long-term asset reliability. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and execute mechanical maintenance activities across utility units (e.g., boilers, chillers, air compressors, pumps, piping, and heat exchangers). • Develop, implement, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs. • Troubleshoot equipment failures and develop solutions to minimize downtime and optimize performance. • Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to schedule and prioritize repairs and inspections. • Ensure mechanical equipment complies with all applicable safety and environmental regulations. • Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders for project execution and upgrades. • Analyze maintenance data and use reliability engineering tools (e.g., RCFA, FMEA) to drive continuous improvement. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and mechanical integrity reports. • Support planning and execution of turnarounds and shutdowns as needed.
