District Mechanic

The District Mechanic will be responsible for: • Performing necessary repairs and maintenance work on company vehicles as directed. They will assist the Chief Mechanic in the accomplishments of their duties. • Performing and overhauling heavy trucks, pickup trucks and cars. Plan work procedures using charts and technical manuals. Disassemble and inspect parts for wear. Repair or replace parts as needed. • Responsible for house cleaning of work area. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Must have good knowledge of the processes and techniques used in major and minor mechanical and vehicle repair and maintenance. Must have good knowledge on safety processes required. • The District Mechanic must be able to obtain and maintain a valid drivers license. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform average lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally up to 35 pounds.
