Partner with the best As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for: • Executing the design of gearboxes using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements. • Executing routine analyses of gearboxes using vested methods and technologies and/or contributing to technological developments in teams under supervision. • Engaging in customizing projects to client needs and conveying technical information both to clients and to colleagues out of other functions. • Delivering products as part of a cross-functional team. Manufacturing Engineer / Lufkin, TX

Description: You will be the Manufacturing Engineer for the Box, Circuit Card, SAF, or Wire Harness Assembly area in Lufkin Production Operations. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes and systems to support the production of high-quality products. The engineer will support an immediate team of Production Operators/Supervisors and Manufacturing, Quality, and Industrial Engineers; and will be required to regularly interface with a broader team of Program Management and Design Engineering functions as needed. What You Will Be Doing As Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to shop floor personnel, developing and managing manufacturing processes and detailed work instructions, and analyzing and resolving hardware defects. You will also be responsible for implementing engineering design changes, training new manufacturing engineers, and supporting area-wide process improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities will include: • Provide mentorship, guidance and technical expertise to entry level MEs. • Execute or coordinate complex Root Cause Investigations and Corrective Actions. • Help facilitate data reviews to drive HPU and DPU reduction efforts. • Providing technical support to shop floor personnel. • Developing and managing manufacturing processes and detailed work instructions. • Implementing engineering design changes. • Supporting area-wide process improvement initiatives. • Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing process equipment and tooling. • Integrating new assets and technologies.
