Position: Mechanic 1 - Othello, WA Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: The J.R. Summary The Mechanic works independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. This role includes troubleshooting issues, repairing failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensuring maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. This person provides direction for effective execution of maintenance activity on all machinery and equipment throughout the plant and office facilities. The Maintenance Mechanic is also responsible for the optimum utilization of available resources such as manpower, equipment, time, etc. This person must be responsible for decisions, actions and failures; must establish clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results. In addition, the maintenance mechanic must partner with others to get work done and work cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain food packaging equipment , such as form-fill-seal machines, labelers, cartoners, case packers, and conveyors. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency. Troubleshoot mechanical and minor electrical issues to ensure consistent line operation and product flow. Adjust machine settings to meet packaging specifications, including product size, weight, and labeling requirements. Ensure packaging operations meet food safety standards , including allergen control, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and HACCP protocols. Clean and sanitize packaging equipment regularly to meet hygiene and food safety regulations. Monitor packaging integrity , including seal quality, label accuracy, and proper coding (e.g., expiration dates). Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement. Document maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime incidents in compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Support efficient changeovers , ensuring machines are configured correctly for new product runs while minimizing waste and delays. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area , adhering to plant safety and 5S principles. Typical Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 3+ years related experience and/or training Other Information Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics; Basic electrical repair in an industrial/manufacturing environment; Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings and write detailed repair reports; Ability to analyze and make decisions; Ability to diagram equipment control problems; Strong verbal and written English communication skills; Good organizational and planning skills. Preferred: Experience with 480-volt power and 24 control voltages to 120 volt electrical troubleshooting; Program and trouble shoot Allen Bradley SLC 500 and Micro Logix series. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory, and represent the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Mechanical Millwright

Millwright Job Description: Millwright- Preferred minimum of 6 months documented field experience in chosen craft discipline. Must have the ability to read and interpret instructions and documentation. The level and degree of job responsibilities and requirements vary depending on months of experience and assigned. Helpers primarily assist in these activities. $28-$30 per hour + $75 per day per diem MILLWRIGHT RESPONSIBILITIES • Reads and interprets blueprints, layout plans, vendor installation and operation manuals, and other schematic drawings to determine work procedures. • Dismantles machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools. • Moves machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks. • Assembles and installs equipment, such as shaffing, conveyors and tram rails, using cranes, hand tools and power tools. • Constructs foundation for machines using hand tools and building materials, such as wood, cement and steel. • Aligns machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers and plumb bobs. • Must have knowledge of optical and laser alignments. • Assembles machines and bolts, welds, rivets or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures using hand tools and power tools. • May operate engine lathe to grind, file and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications. • May install robot and modify its program using teach pendant. • May use transit and level for equipment setting. • Loads, transports and unloads materials, tools, equipment and supplies. • Performs lubricating maintenance, cleaning activities, or repair of tools, machines, and equipment. • Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required. Project Engineer

We are looking for an accountable and experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Othello Washington. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines within your projects. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. The main purpose of a project engineer is to complete engineering and construction projects by planning, organizing and controlling all elements of the project. You will supervise all development and implementation of a project and oversee facility upgrades. Key Responsibilities: On-site Requirement - Must perform duties onsite. Some travel may be required. Ensures plant emergency action and crisis management plan is up to date and that the management team is prepared to respond to emergencies. Annually develops and conducts periodic crisis drill simulations. Qualifications: BS degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or relevant field Prior experience in a processing facility is required. Proven working experience as a project engineer Prior experience in capital projects will be considered an asset. Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills, along with excellent verbal and written English communication skills are essential. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Programs, including Microsoft Project and exposure to SAP is an asset.
