Qualifications • 2+ years of experience designing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution. • Professional Engineer licensure is preferred. • If not yet licensed, the following is preferred: • 2 years of documented experience working under a licensed PE. • Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. • Eligibility to apply for licensure in the State of Illinois within the next 2 years. • Proficiency with Revit is a must. • Demonstrated experience with HVAC design, including HVAC load calculation, ductwork and piping design, equipment selection, etc. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to organize, prioritize, and perform work assignments with minimal supervision. NOTE: Candidates with less than 2 years of experience would be required to complete training in Quincy, IL; Burlington, IA; or Columbia, MO, before moving to Galesburg.
