Position Summary Execute precision machine installation and assembly according to layout plans, blueprints and other drawings using sophisticated measuring instruments. Install and align heavy industrial machinery such as conveyor systems, pumping systems, packaging systems, compressors, electric generators and turbines. Reports To: Packaging Assembly Manager Work Location: 2001 Proenergy Blvd., Sedalia, MO 65301 Position Responsibilities • Identify hand tools, fasteners and equipment used in the trade and distinguish their applications • Apply basic layout principles, blueprint reading, and master intermediate trade math • Identify appropriate gaskets and O-rings according to their application • Apply oxyfuel cutting techniques • Use safe rigging practices • Set baseplates and soleplates • Properly use precision measuring tools • Install packing and seals (including mechanical seals) • Remove and install bearings and couplings • Fabricate shims • Pre-align and install equipment • Install belt and chain drives, fans and blowers • Identify conveyor parts and explain their functions • Distinguish types of alignment (conventional, laser and reverse) and identify the steps that must be taken for each • Identify types of pumps common and distinguish their application, troubleshooting and repairing procedures • Identify types of compressors and their maintenance procedures • Troubleshoot and repair gearboxes • Identify turbine components and explain their functions Required Qualifications • Journeyman status in multiple mechanical trades such as millwright/welder or millwright/machinist or other similar trade combinations is required. • 3+ years of industrial millwright experience. • Work safely and effectively in a team environment, as well as with minimal supervision. • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills. • Demonstrated ability and knowledge of welding, machining, milling, cutting, etc. • Demonstrated ability of motivation and willing to maintain and develop skills. • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa. • Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check Desired Qualifications • Mental requirements: Well organized, ability to multi-task, analyze/interpret and make a rational decision, verbal, written and math skills a must. • Use of welding equipment, forklift, and a computer should be expected on a daily basis. Position Summary The role of Mechanical Designer will be to create and/or modify component and assembly design layouts; dimensional stacks; component, assembly and proposal drawings with minimal engineering direction and in accordance with customer requirements. Reports To: Manager Design & Drafting Work Location: 2001 Proenergy Blvd., Sedalia, MO 65301 Position Responsibilities • Exhibit mastery of all skills outlined in Drafter levels. • Demonstrate strong competency in 3D modeling techniques. • Create and modify 3D models based on provided sketches or conceptual ideas • Apply a foundational understanding of parametric modeling principles. • Develop assemblies and basic part configurations, prioritizing safety and ease of use. • Utilize solid knowledge of standard dimensioning and annotation techniques. • Show proficiency in ASME Y14.5 standards. • Integrate engineering principles proficiently into CAD designs. • Show familiarity with Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) principles. • Perform basic design analysis and optimization to improve efficiency. • Collaborate effectively within a team environment to achieve project goals. • Present design concepts with intermediate presentation skills. • Display strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. • Work independently while efficiently managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Required Qualifications • Associate's degree, trade school diploma or equivalent technical experience • 5 - 8 years' experience or equivalent with the primary responsibilities inclusive of mechanical component and assembly drawings and the creation of bills of materials. • Experience using computer-aided drafting principles, geometric tolerancing fundamentals, and established design standards to create mechanical designs for ProEnergy Services manufacturing. • Experience with CAD Software (Solidworks, Creo, or NX preferred) • Technical competence including understanding software, hardware, networks, etc. • Must read, write and speak fluent English. • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. In this high-impact role, you will drive innovation in our Positive Displacement Blower and Blower Package product lines, leading design and development efforts that shape both new and existing products. From concept to prototype to production, you’ll play a key role in creating cost-effective, performance-driven designs while collaborating cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer Service. Responsibilities: • Work with PD Blower and Blower Package product lines to improve design, performance, and/or manufacturing process. • Support Engineering efforts on critical projects which includes idea development, prototype, project execution, and plant/business system implementation. • Design and/or re-design new and existing product lines. • Produce cost effective designs, complex layouts assemblies, detail part drawings, and generate associated bills of materials. • Design and implement test programs to ensure designs are adequate for intended purpose and meet specifications and functional requirements • Evaluate existing products for re-design based on feedback from manufacturing, quality, or assembly and assess functionality to determine product effectiveness for customers. • Collect product data via reports, manufacturing, assembly, and testing. • Provide technical guidance to team members including Sourcing, Operations, Customer Service, and Marketing with respect to product-based education and decisions. • Work with team to standardize product offering through product rationalization and new product development. • Work closely with Customer Service, Field Service, and Manufacturing personnel to resolve issues regarding legacy and new products. • Project involvement in patent applications for new or existing products. Requirements: • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering • 5-10 years of experience with rotating equipment design and manufacturing • Must have good mechanical aptitude. • In lieu of having rotating equipment experience, previous exposure to the design of industrial equipment and machinery in general would be appreciated. • Rotor and impeller profile design experience is preferred. • Strong proficiency in thermodynamics and compressible flow desired. • Solid Modeling CAD skills and experience with PLM tools are. • Hands-on experience with computer-aided engineering; Proficiency with FEA and CFD software. • Experience with ERP software, preferably using SAP ECC 6.0 • Superior analytical skills required with excellent communication and organizational skills. • Basic understanding of design and manufacturing principles, with preferred experience in machining, casting, injection molding, fabrication, and gear design and analysis • Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions (operations, product management, sourcing, etc.) • Must excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment—driving solutions, delivering results, and modeling accountability.
