Maintenance Engineer

Position Summary The Hotel Maintenance Engineer ensures the safe and efficient operation of all building systems and equipment within the hotel. This includes performing preventive maintenance, addressing guest requests, responding to emergencies, and maintaining the overall aesthetic and functional quality of the property. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service. Key Responsibilities 1. General Maintenance & Repairs • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. • Address and resolve maintenance issues in guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces. • Troubleshoot and repair issues with appliances, fixtures, and structural components (doors, windows, flooring, etc.). 2. Facility Management • Monitor and maintain building systems, including elevators, fire alarms, and security systems. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. • Assist in maintaining the hotel’s energy management and conservation program. 3. Work Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen or a permanent lawful resident of the U.S. Summary: Plans and directs activities concerned with the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for processes, materials, and products.
