POSITION SUMMARY The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the facility including major mechanical systems, fire & life-safety equipment, grounds, parking, lighting systems, plumbing, kitchen equipment, electrical, controls and any other systems and equipment comprising the physical structure and appurtenant infrastructure. Executes all routine maintenance and operation of physical structure of the casino, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment which contributes to the safe and effective operation of the facility. 9. Ensures work processes are OSHA and Hazcom compliant to include complying with all departmental MSDS sheets and procedures. 10. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, providing clear communication to the Chief Engineer on the details of work performed. 11. Answer radio or other communications regarding complaints/concerns and take appropriate action from all KCC departments. 12. Work efficiently and guarantee maximum productivity and guest satisfaction with a minimal supervision performing assigned task. 13. Attend all required meetings to obtain and disseminate pertinent information. 14. Evaluate condition of furniture, fixtures, décor, etc., which requires continuous visual inspection of public areas. Make repairs as needed or as directed by the Director of Security & Facilities or the Chief Engineer. 15. Maintain and Operate all equipment safely and at the recommendation of all Standard operating practices set forth by the equipment manufacturer or the Facility Standard Operating Procedures. 16. Conduct him/her in a gracious, kind and warm manner that creates a sense of fondness, as well as professional, courteous and responsive manner, which reflects positively on the company and its core values of Fun, Family and Community. 17. Participate on property Safety Committee as assigned. 18. Performs other duties as may be assigned by department and/or company management.
