Engineering Project Manager

Project Manager Benefits: · 401(k) with match · Flexible schedule · Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance · STD/LTD and Life Insurance · Paid time off and Holiday pay · Relocation assistance Project Manager Duties/Responsibilities: · Provides general support to Staff Engineers · Verifies and tests assigned metrics on projects. · Ensures compliance with applicable company and client quality requirements in all assigned programs, functions, products, and areas. · Identifies and reports problems with specific processes or products to senior engineers. · Performing site plan design, infrastructure design support, drainage plans, and the drafting and calculations that are typically associated with this work. · Assists senior engineers in the development of new methods to improve product quality and process efficacy and efficiency. Project Manager Qualifications: · Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering. · E.I.T. or Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain either. · Experience desired in relative field is 1–5 years. Subsequent rotations will be chosen in consultation with program mentors and based on performance and personal development objectives.Mentorship and Guidance: Each participant will be assigned a mentor from the senior engineering staff who will provide guidance, support, and regular feedback throughout the program. Mentors will help participants set goals, track progress, and offer valuable insights into the company's engineering culture.Rotational Assignments: The rotations will be conducted in different engineering departments, which may include but are not limited to: a. Research and Development: Engage in innovative projects, ideation, and prototyping to drive product advancement. b. Manufacturing and Operations: Get hands-on experience in optimizing processes, quality control, and production efficiency. c. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design and manufacturing meet rigorous quality standards. d. Project Management: Develop skills in planning, executing, and delivering engineering projects on time and within budget. e. Regulatory Affairs: Contribute to a team ensuring that they are meeting regulatory standards in the US, the EU, and rest of world. Professional Development: As budget and time allows, participants will have access to workshops, training sessions, and seminars aimed at enhancing technical skills and developing leadership and communication abilities. Topics may include project management, effective teamwork, technical tools, and industry best practices.Networking Opportunities: To foster professional connections, participants will have the chance to attend engineering conferences, company-wide events, and networking sessions with industry experts.Program End: As participants reach the end of their rotation, their mentor will work with them and company leaders on placement for post-rotation. Placement is based on a comprehensive review of participant performance, the feedback received from rotation mentors and stated preferences. Placement will align with one or more of the following: A function where strong performance has been demonstrated, an area where the candidate's strengths and interests align with business needs, and/or a function where the engineer has expressed preference as identified in their final rotation review.
