The department currently hosts a BSME and BSCE program and is in the process of developing an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering program. The teaching responsibilities will encompass both lecture and laboratory settings, covering topics such advanced manufacturing, computational design methods for metal additive manufacturing, robotics and automation in manufacturing, and AI and machine learning applications in manufacturing. This will involve conducting cutting-edge research in the fields of advanced manufacturing mentioned above and securing funding to support these initiatives.
