Position Summary Assist in location engineering activities that support design or process improvement of the business unit. Be a driving force for continuous improvement for the facility while working with all levels of the organization. Interns will be provided with training and mentorship that will translate to real-world skills and experiences. 20 – 40 hours per week. Responsibilities Responsible for the assistance of determining and developing production processes for manufacturing operations - to drive the reduction of non-value added activity and support improved process flow through improved design of equipment and methods. • Evaluate existing processes and to configure manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve safety and sustainability, and develop best practices within the production process • Ensures plant is actively engaged in Continuous Improvement activities and driving sustainable results • Acquiring knowledge of various engineering department’s operations, functions, responsibilities, and workflow • Performing other related responsibilities.
