Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented recent graduate to join our Engineering team as a Manufacturing Technology Engineer. This entry-level role offers a fantastic opportunity to directly impact our production efficiency and quality. You will be instrumental in providing on-the-floor support to our production staff, troubleshooting process-related issues, and developing and maintaining clear, standardized work instructions and documentation. This position is an excellent fit for a proactive individual with a solid technical foundation and a passion for optimizing manufacturing processes. Responsibilities: Provide daily technical support to production teams, addressing process inquiries and resolving manufacturing challenges in a timely manner. Develop, document, and standardize work instructions (SWIs), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and production control guides to ensure consistent and efficient manufacturing processes. Collaborate closely with production personnel, quality control, and other engineering team members to identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions. Assist in the creation and maintenance of quality control documentation and participate in quality assurance programs. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop and maintain technical drawings, including critical dimensions, tolerances, and material properties. Assist in the design, development, and production of products and processes. Conduct tests, collect and analyze data, and assist in the development of prototypes. Participate in the investigation of production issues, identify root causes, and contribute to the implementation of corrective and preventative actions. Assist in the development of quality standards for both finished goods and raw materials. Inspect materials and finished goods as needed to ensure adherence to quality standards. Support the training of production and quality assurance employees on new processes and work instructions during initial implementation. Manage assigned tasks within product development or process improvement projects to ensure timely completion. Contribute to plant safety initiatives and ensure that work instructions incorporate safety guidelines. Perform other engineering-related tasks as needed to support the overall goals of the department. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. Strong interest in supporting manufacturing operations and improving production processes. Solid problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical information. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Demonstrated eagerness to learn and apply new technical skills. Desired Skills/Qualifications: Familiarity with manufacturing quality principles and practices. Exposure to product development lifecycles. Experience presenting technical information. Any relevant internships or co-op experience in a manufacturing setting.
