Ideal candidate will have verifiable supervisorial experience in industrial mechanical installation for new heavy industrial projects. They will be able to coordinate, manage and execute the installation from the ground up. They will be responsible for managing a crew. Experience in Microsoft office and excel preferred. Strong communication skills, both written and oral are a must. This job requires many hours "in the field", exposed to the elements, standing/walking 10+ hours per day. May require heavy lifting. Field Mechanical I&E Technician II

Field Mechanical I&E Technician II Position Summary Axip is an established, leading provider of gas compression and related services in the oil and gas industry, with years of experience in the field. At Axip, we partner with our customers to deliver optimized compression services consistently over time, utilizing field data, industry-leading technology, and engineering expertise. We place a focus on delivering compression and facility services in a manner that meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and environmental responsibility. The Field Mechanical I&E Technician II will be responsible for all aspects of Axip Energy Services’ Instrumentation and/or electrical activities within the assigned area. This role will be expected to perform I&E as well as mechanical activities related to Electric and Natural Gas Driven Gas Compressors. Responsibilities Program, calibrate, and repair various pneumatic and electronic instruments in the facilities and/or at the well sites related to both instrumentation and electrical systems. • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and replacement of low voltage, medium and High AC voltage electrical equipment. • Required to work on all automation equipment, including transmitters, control valves, shutdown devices, and annunciated control panels and some PLCs. • Identify and report safety hazards, observe all safety requirements and actively strive to provide a safe work environment for company employees, customers, contractors and the public. • Perform installation, testing, maintenance and calibration of instrumentation, control and electrical equipment. • Works within established procedures with moderate supervision, occasionally assist in the coordination of onsite contractors. • Collaborate if needed in the planning, execution, testing, and documenting of construction and engineering efforts for new and existing equipment. • Actively participate in safety meetings for area employees and ensures compliance with safety manual and other industry safety standards. • Participant in planning maintenance and troubleshooting activities for the gas plant and/or associated production and pipeline facilities. • Will also assist and perform mechanical work on other equipment related to gas compression activities. Requirements 3+ years of industrial and electrical experience • Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts. • Intermediate knowledge level of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.…), and have the ability to learn other company computer applications. • Basic to advanced PLC or industrial automation experience with skills in the maintaining of transmitters, RTUS and other Supervisory, Control or SCADA type equipment. • Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Ability to interface with manufacturer software systems, run reports and interpret reports to support basic to intermediate I&E support duties. • Associates Degree • Previous Operations experience working within the oil and gas industry. • Any trade school certification for both instrumentation and electrical training Work Environment Must be fit for duty for the job tasks being performed • Must meet the medical requirements necessary to wear PPE required by role (includes respiratory protection medical requirements as required by role) • Required to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds and to push and pull up to 110 pounds • Regularly asked to climb in and around equipment, stairs and slanted ladders • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions • Drive and work in inclement weather for extended periods

Job description Operates stationary and moving overhead cranes, forklifts, and any equipment needed to perform job within safety guidelines. Reads and interprets assembly blueprints and schematics and plans assembly or building operations. Duties: –Sets and verifies parts clearances. Verify material per bill of material. -capable of following written assembly instructions, maintain their work areas clean and free of debris. -Should be able to operate pallet jacks, cranes, and forklifts; should be able to operate power tools, and large hand tools.
