You will troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. This position will report into our Pegasus Plant but will cover our sites within the Midland-Odessa area (i.e. our Goldsmith, Pegasus, and James Lake Plants). • This position requires the successful completion of an online assessment. What You'll Do • Performing maintenance and repairs on engines, compressors and associated components, such as compressor valves, spark plugs, cooling and lubrication systems (auxiliary). • Leads or performs overhaul of compressors and engines\engine swings, including foundation work, initial alignment, testing, and startup. • Ensuring the safe, effective and efficient performance of maintenance and operation activities in accordance with Company standards and regulatory guidelines • Complying with company policies, procedures and directives • Performing work on air pollution control equipment • Performing required preventive and corrective maintenance on various types of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations • Identifying maintenance work and initiating work requests • Driving a company owned vehicle within assigned area • Training less experienced employees and overseeing the work of contract personnel • Ability to diagnose mechanical problems • Ability to provides Quality Assurance\Quality Control over 3rd Party contractors performing major maintenance. What You'll Bring - Required • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country • High School Diploma/GED equivalent • Must be 18 years of age or older • Must maintain a valid driver's license • Must live/relocate within 45 miles of reporting location • 3 or more years maintenance/mechanical experience in oil and gas or related industry • Willing and able to work a rotating call-out schedule • Willing and able perform/comply, with or without a reasonable accommodation, with the following: • Climb various ladders and stairs ranging 5 to 20 feet in height on platforms and catwalks to perform maintenance on equipment as part of this position • Raise and transport articles weighing up to 50 pounds • Occasionally exerts pulling force of 130 pounds • Walk, stand, stoop, sit, climb, and carry material on a daily basis on even and uneven terrain • Work outside in harsh weather conditions • Work alone a high percentage of the time • Work scheduled or unscheduled overtime on an as-needed basis • Wear fire-retardant clothing and other personal protective equipment, such as steel-toe shoes and ear and eye protection • Maintain all required operations and safety training including required Operator Qualifications for DOT covered tasks What Makes You Stand Out - Preferred • Previous experience working on Natural Gas Engines and/or Natural Gas Compressors (i.e. Caterpillar, Waukesha, Ariel, Superior, etc.) • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, and available maintenance programs • 3 or more years direct experience with reading schematics, manuals and drawings • A sound knowledge of code requirements, including OSHA, Process Safety • 1 or more years of direct experience conducting pipeline integrity tool runs Compensation Range: The base pay range for this role is $81,000 - $123,200 depending on a candidate's relevant work experience and education.
