We are currently seeking experienced and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. #DekaCareers Wages starting at $35 $5000.00 Bonus Opportunities primarily available on 2nd and 3rd shift. Consistent schedule and guaranteed 40 hours with opportunity for overtime. Responsibilities: Position Summary: The Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the assembly, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems in machinery, equipment, and production lines. This role requires a strong understanding of both mechanical components and electrical systems. Key Responsibilities: • Assemble and install electrical and mechanical components according to schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings. • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in machinery and equipment. • Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely. • Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to verify the functionality of equipment. • Document repairs, calibrations, and part replacements in maintenance logs. • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support new equipment installs or modifications. • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. • Maintains regular attendance. • Ability to work mandatory over time. Performs other duties as requested by Management. Responsible for producing a high quality product. Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices. Qualifications: Qualifications: • Associate degree or technical diploma in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. • 2+ years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. • Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits, PLCs, motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics. • Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and maintenance software. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred: • Experience with automation systems and robotic equipment. • Certification in electrical or mechanical systems (e.g. Maintenance Technician Certification). Ability to bend, twist, do extensive walking, lift up to 50 lbs, and have good hand-eye coordination. Must have a valid state driver's license. Provides scheduling input during projects. • Reviews design documents and identifies potential quality problems. Helps develop quality control programs. • Performs job inspections at various times in the project to ensure specifications and expectations are met and work is completed in a quality manner. • Develops pre-functional checklists and functional testing procedures. Verifies contractor's performance of functional test. • Reviews and approves shop drawings prior to submitting to design team. • Generates and issues the Commissioning Plan for approval to the appropriate parties. • Verifies deficiencies are corrected and submits commissioning documentation to owners. • Provides mentoring to less experienced co-workers. • Creates M/E tools and innovative solutions to continuously improve processes and work products. • Leads, supports and promotes a culture of diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn. Manufacturing Engineer

This hybrid role as both a Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for optimizing production processes by analyzing current methods, designing and implementing improvements to equipment and workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize efficiency and minimize costs. Additionally, this role will also have additional focus on ensuring that the organization’s products and services follow the company’s quality requirements, in addition to complying with customer and regulatory requirements for quality, safety, and reliability supporting our Temple, TX transformer remanufacturing facility. This role will report the Director of CIQ solid line and dotted line to the Temple Service Center Manager. • Apply and train VSM, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S skills to effectively map the manufacturing processes to identify and implement process improvement opportunities and developing/documenting factory capacity and bottleneck analyses. Develop capacity improvement plans for inclusion into CI or capital planning. • Lead factory initiatives around safety, quality, continuous improvement (CI), lean manufacturing, mistake proofing, root cause analysis and corrective actions. • Lead cultural change to a lean philosophy through communication of vision and expectations. • Support and develop implement project plans to achieve Future State. • Assess and recommend the purchasing of manufacturing equipment, installation and commission. Facilitate operational cost reduction through productivity or material cost improvements supporting annual objectives. • Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing procedures/processes, including instruction manuals, documentation, pictures, step by step procedures, and training. • Through application of the duties listed herein, first priority is to ensure our customers are satisfied with the quality of the product sold to them.
