Propell American is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer (ME) to join our Engineering Team in Granbury, TX. A Senior ME is responsible for providing product specific technical expertise and conducting engineering activities as are required to ensure the performance, manufacturability, serviceability, quality, and profitability of Propell products. Roles & Responsibilities: Documentation of product intent and verification of conformance to customer requirements Translation of customer needs and value opportunities into timely, cost-effective and tangible concept features and products Conceptual and detailed product design Verification of product fitness-for- purpose, cost-effectiveness, compliance, design for service, design for manufacture and risk mitigation Creation and maintenance of customer product documentation Provision of product engineering in support of all Propell operational activities Provision of appropriate instruction to manufacturing for efficient steady-state production Provision of engineering support to any relevant stakeholder throughout the product lifecycle Development of project and operational plans and monitoring and control of project and operational activities to ensure compliance with time, cost and quality objectives Documentation of best practices and experiential learning Execution of continuous product improvement and cost reduction initiatives Continuous improvement of engineering drawing packages, work instructions and other forms of technical instruction consistent with product or brand specialization Provide support in the form of manufacturing engineering activities Conduct additional tasks as requested Specific Skills: Must be fluent with SolidWorks 3D CAD Technical communication Use of standard office software Assessment of appropriate design for manufacture and design for service Assessment of appropriate structural integrity, which may require the application of classical structural engineering calculation or finite element analysis Design, conduct and documentation of scientific experiments and prototyping activities Project and resource management 5+ experience with design of mobile oilfield equipment and/or power gen equipment Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline and 10 years relevant engineering experience Training/ Certifications that are a PLUS: Registered as a Professional Engineer in State of TX Registered as an Engineer in Training in State of TX Benefits: Medical, Dental and Vision coverage including FSA/HSA Company paid Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability 401k Employee Referral Program Paid Holidays and PTO Training Opportunities for growth And more! 10+ years as the North American leader in oilfield equipment innovation and manufacturing, with 3 facilities across the U.S. and Canada, are not only a testament to our customers, but a commitment to the team of people that work here every day.
