Mechanical Trades Manager (Residential Construction)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Manager to oversee the Mechanical Trades aspect of our residential interior remodeling construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a focus on HVAC, electrical and plumbing. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to coordinate multiple teams, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. Responsibilities • Manage all aspects of finish trades including but not limited to; scheduling and coordinating employee and subcontractors • Coordinate with Remodeling Director and Project Managers to ensure project specifications are met. • Conduct regular quality inspections and construction inspections to uphold safety standards and compliance. • Oversee the construction site, ensuring that all work is performed according to plans and specifications. • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports for management. • Implement effective project management strategies to optimize resources and minimize delays. • Recruit and hire internal employees and subcontractors to complete work. Experience • Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of Mechanical trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc) • Demonstrated ability in quality control processes and construction inspection methodologies. • Experience in project management techniques with a focus on delivering successful outcomes. • Experience with Interior Remodeling Construction (Residential). • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflicts effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Electrical / Mechanical Mechanic

Role Overview We are looking for an AEM (Automated Equipment Mechanic) to support the Synthetic Chemicals team in Rochester, NY. As an Automated Equipment Mechanic, you will have the following responsibilities: • AEM skilled trade to provide multi-discipline capability to repair, maintain, install and make improvements to chemical processing equipment and machinery (includes pneumatics, hydraulics, controls (PLC’s), and electrical components) • Ability to fabricate to exact tolerances using lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other shop equipment • Some experience or expertise in piping, HVAC equipment and controls • Ability to achieve a high level of expertise of chemical process equipment for effective troubleshooting and equipment repair • Execute preventive maintenance program • Calibrate, alignment and make adjustments with test equipment and production equipment • Initial (training) assignment is Mon. – Fri., 8 hour days (40 hours/week) Longer term could possibly be 24/7 coverage (Fireman’s rotation - two 12 hour days, two 12 hour nights, 4 days rest) • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance software tools. Qualifications: • HS diploma • Formal instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, and/or AEM training and demonstrated experience • Mechanical equipment repair training and/or demonstrated experience: pumps, mechanical seals, agitators, gear boxes, fans (bearings, sheaves), alignment • Demonstrate effective analytical troubleshooting skills • Able to read electrical, instrument and machine drawings • Able to read PLC programs to troubleshoot equipment problems • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision • Excellent safety record – places safety and environment as top priority in all work • Knowledge of Lock Out / Tag Out Understanding of electrical codes for hazardous environments (flammable liquids) • Good communication skills – daily communications with maintenance planner, technical staff and operations as needed. • Good team player – willing be flexible, work in other areas and with other trades as needed.
