Job Summary: The Project Engineer will be responsible for developing, overseeing, and administering construction projects within the Authority and for municipal Authority customers. Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): • Proficient with all Microsoft Office products, computer servers, and general office equipment as well as database management. • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local building codes, environmental and safety regulations. • Knowledge of construction means and methods. • Knowledge of water and wastewater equipment and system design. • Knowledge of CAD, GIS, GPS, and SCADA. • Skills with computers required. • Skills in technical writing and verbal communication. • Ability to manage, adjust and prioritize varied workload based on such factors as work objectives, schedule, and customer needs. • Ability to make sound judgements based on analysis and data. • Ability to work with a variety of internal and external customers in a team environment. • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Education: • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field. • Master’s Degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or Business Administration preferred.
