PURPOSE Performs physical tasks in the shop, warehouse, or field in support of operations including, but not limited to: inspection, repairs and maintenance of equipment, troubleshooting, interpretation of equipment manuals, and training/mentoring. Essential Job Duties And Responsibilties • Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment; reviews equipment status with operational personnel and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of trucks and equipment. • Inspects, repairs, maintains, and makes recommendations and performs modifications to functional parts of a variety of equipment and machinery. Diagnoses maintenance requirements on diesel engines, transmissions, drive lines, differentials, electrical circuits, AC power plant, hydraulic systems, and chassis through diagnostic aids, inspections, and interpretation of equipment reports with assistance.
