Works directly with production team members to demonstrate, diagnose and implement new and existing automation equipment. • Design and develop electromechanical systems and automation equipment using SolidWorks or similar 3D design software. • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including drawings, schematics, and specifications. • Conduct testing and evaluation of electromechanical systems and automation equipment, including component selection, validation, and testing. • Implements various construction techniques to design, build and maintain various manufacturing automation equipment. • Diagnoses, troubleshoots and resolves operational and usability issues. • Participates in planning/needs analysis for hardware and software/firmware. • Maintains documentation, including inventory records/bill of materials in the construction of automation equipment and software/firmware. • Coordinates and implements projects as assigned by department team leader and/or assistant team lead. • Performs routine maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of a variety of hardware devices.
