Pischke Collision Center is seeking an Collision Technician for full time position. Join our busy team and work in our state-of-the art collision center in downtown La Crosse, WI. Excellent benefits and pay commensurate with experience, Average starting pay of $22.00 to $35.00/hr. Job duties include part replacement of wrecked vehicles, battery jumps, tire changes, and electrical troubleshooting. Willing to train the proper person but some mechanical knowledge is required. Electro-Mechanical Engineer

The Electro-Mechanical Engineer designs, develops and maintains electromechanical systems for various automation, vision and small electronic controller units (Arduino, PLC, etc.). Works with development team and gives design input for improving existing, and building new equipment. Works directly with production team members to demonstrate, diagnose and implement new and existing automation equipment. • High school diploma or equivalent required; • Associate degree in electro-mechanical, robotics, pneumatic and motion control systems or related field preferred. • Minimum of one (1) year of experience conducting hardware construction and troubleshooting required. • Experience with PLC ladder and Arduino programming preferred. Works directly with production team members to demonstrate, diagnose and implement new and existing automation equipment. • Design and develop electromechanical systems and automation equipment using SolidWorks or similar 3D design software. • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including drawings, schematics, and specifications. • Conduct testing and evaluation of electromechanical systems and automation equipment, including component selection, validation, and testing. • Implements various construction techniques to design, build and maintain various manufacturing automation equipment. • Diagnoses, troubleshoots and resolves operational and usability issues. • Participates in planning/needs analysis for hardware and software/firmware. • Maintains documentation, including inventory records/bill of materials in the construction of automation equipment and software/firmware. • Coordinates and implements projects as assigned by department team leader and/or assistant team lead. • Performs routine maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of a variety of hardware devices. Skills and abilities crucial to success in this role include: • Working knowledge of low voltage electronics including construction, maintenance and troubleshooting. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently without continued support from others. • Ability to adapt to task assignments, priorities, and work environment. • Ability to work and interact well with others.
