Nursing Assistant - Resident Care Specialist

Job Overview Responsibilities: • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient medication management. • Conduct regular inspections of medical equipment to prevent malfunctions. • Develop and maintain accurate records of resident appointments and transportation needs. • Participate in medication disposal procedures under nurse supervision. • Monitor resident weight gain/loss and document findings on the MAR. • Identify and report any issues with medical equipment or supply shortages. • Provide transportation services for residents as required. • Process medical supply orders in a timely manner. • Update and distribute medication refill lists to relevant staff. • Support appointment scheduling and telehealth coordination efforts. • Maintain organized filing systems for resident documents. Qualifications: • Age 18 or older. • Valid driver's license or state ID. • Successful completion of a drug screening test. • Criminal background check within company standards. • CNA certification. • CPR and First Aid certification (must be completed within the first thirty days of employment). • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • This role is under indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing Assistant.
