Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Tech 2nd Shift

Eaton’s EPG CHD EP Americas division is currently seeking a Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Tech 2nd Shift. The regularly scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. The rate for this position is $27.96 per hour plus a $.60 per hour shift differential. There is an hourly wage increase at 45 days and 90 days. What you’ll do: This position requires ability to be responsible for installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of facility equipment, plant and associated systems. In this function you will: • Perform troubleshooting, corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment. • Monitor equipment proper function via routine inspection and daily observation. • Perform routine preventive Maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including motors, conveyors, mechanical parts, electrical wiring, and related components. • Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting, including work with AC, DC circuits, single-phase and three-phase power. • Adhere to and follow all safety rules, procedures, and regulations. • Document and report any issues to your supervisor. • Actively participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned. • Maintain and provide timely records of work performed, including completing work orders and document usage of spare parts daily. • Maintain and secure tools and repair equipment. Maintain/clean work areas. • Communicate equipment/plant status as required. • Operate a variety of lifts etc. • Work with Operations team members and leaders in work area to ensure uptime on equipment and repairs complete and effective with operations team. • Share learnings and train/cross train with coworkers to ensure knowledge is shared by maintenance team. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment. • Experience using technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably. • Knowledge of OSHA and NFPA-70E requirements. • Experience with PLC’s, pneumatics, and hydraulics. • Must be able to read blueprints. • Must be able to read electrical drawings. • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Preferred qualifications: • Vocational certificate or associate degree in electromechanics • Experience with CNC machining a plus #IND123 #LI-SB2 Skills: • Work in various locations, including confined spaces, and at varied heights using fall protection, permits, and other safety processes and procedures as required including but not limited to lockout/tagout. • Able to stand on feet continuously during shift and able to lift 50 lbs without assistance (40 lbs routinely) • Requires PPE to include safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, leather gloves and hearing protection. • Environment exposure includes sharp objects, pinch points, oil. • Familiarity with basic mechanical principles/basic knowledge of shop maintenance tools • Advanced skills in one or more of the following: Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, PLC troubleshooting and repair. • Basic skills in reading, arithmetic and writing in English. • Dexterity for and ability to operate equipment, machinery, and computers (including Windows and MSOffice as well as industrial software) • Working knowledge of equipment operations, tooling, machining operations, and product. • Familiarity with safety standards such as electrical safety, arc flash, and lock out/tag out • Familiarity with DC and AC power up to three phase 480-volt AC. • Able to read ladder logic and utilize PLC for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and controls issues. • Capable of welding, pipe fitting, rigging • Ability to work around molten metal and in a production environment that is at times very hot or very cold, and subject to unexpected swings of overtime (ability to flex personal schedule to cover tasks on other shifts) • Ability to communicate effectively and work with all employees throughout plant. • Employee must be able to work in a heavy industrial environment with large manufacturing equipment. • Ability to perform basic computer functions: use SAP, eSafety, MESH Prism We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees. Mechanical Design Engineer Senior Specialist

Location: Pantex Plant, Amarillo, TX Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Senior Specialist Career Level: Senior Specialist Organization: Projects Engineering (50996614) Job Specialty: Core Engineering What You'll Do As a design engineer, the candidate will be responsible for developing high quality detailed design packages, providing engineering procurement and field technical support to implement those designs, and providing expertise for troubleshooting and technical assessments of plant systems. In this senior role, the candidate will also be responsible for mentoring early career engineers and providing reviews and input into their designs. Design involves the preparation of conceptual engineering deliverables such as cost-estimating bills of material and man-hour estimates, statements of work, design criteria, and title II engineering deliverables including preparation of calculations and analyses, construction specifications & drawings, and equipment specifications. Candidate must effectively and cooperatively work as a team member of an integrated project team, or as a technical lead for a multi-discipline task and will routinely provide input to system engineers and other plant customers. Design engineers routinely perform walkdowns in the existing plant facilities in order to generate design documents and provide field support to craft personnel. The mechanical piping/heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) engineer shall be responsible for interpreting, organizing, and executing assignments and engineering design for process piping, utility piping systems, high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filtration, exhaust systems, dehumidification, and air conditioning in support of nuclear and non-nuclear projects at Pantex. A strong candidate for the piping/HVAC Engineer position should have experience with design in systems such as potable water and fire-protection supply systems, gases, acid and caustic fluids, brines, cryogenics, steam and condensate, hot and chilled water systems, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and vacuum systems as well as design of duct systems, ventilation/exhaust systems, and the basic installation of mechanical HVAC equipment. Additional experience in performing computer hydraulic (steady-state and transient) analysis, computer pipe stress analysis, and support selection/design is desired. DOE 426.2 experience requirements can be satisfied following employment. In the interim, newly hired personnel will not be assigned duties that could impact the safety basis of nuclear facilities.
