The mechanical piping/HVAC engineer shall be responsible for interpreting, organizing, and executing assignments and engineering design for process piping, utility piping systems, HEPA filtration, exhaust systems, dehumidification, and air conditioning in support of nuclear and non-nuclear projects at Pantex. A strong candidate for the piping/HVAC Engineer position should have experience with design in systems such as potable water and fire-protection supply systems, gases, acid and caustic fluids, brines, cryogenics, steam and condensate, hot and chilled water systems, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and vacuum systems as well as design of duct systems, ventilation/exhaust systems, and the basic installation of mechanical HVAC equipment.
