Equipment Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities: • Ensure the effective performance of all equipment and systems within defined operating parameters. • Diagnose and repair complex equipment, including engines, turbines, pumps, seals, valves, and instruments. • Perform general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment, including pipeline right-of-way, gather or storage areas, and other related infrastructure. • Operate various types of equipment, including industrial wheeled tractors, water pumps, air compressors, expanders, coolers, test equipment, vehicles, and other specialized machinery. • Represent the organization during contacts with landowners, public officials, emergency responders, and at local meetings. • Train and oversee company personnel, as well as third-party contractors, on job-specific tasks and procedures. • Identify and report safety and environmental concerns, actively participate in safety programs, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Requirements: • Educational Requirements: High School degree or equivalent • Experience and Knowledge: Basic computer skills, basic math skills, knowledge of operating costs and best practices associated with equipment in area of responsibility • Certifications and Licenses: Valid driver's license, may require additional certifications or training depending on location and job duties Competencies and Skills: • Communication and Teamwork: Good verbal and written communication skills, customer focus, ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to respond to emergencies, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing situations • Physical Demands: Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions, frequently enter confined spaces, climb elevated platforms, and lift up to 50 pounds

About This Role: The successful candidate must be accountable for individual safety and will be required to conduct all work activities in a safe manner consistent with established company safety practices and policies. The successful candidate must be able to keep up with a very fast pace and be able to adapt to frequently changing priorities A Day In The Life: • Mechanic work on 4-cycle engines to include overhauls, head jobs, etc. • Stationary engine work • Troubleshooting • Responsible for the safe operations and maintenance of gas fired reciprocating equipment • Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and operating generators • Follow a schedule provided by engineers or production supervisors to operate engines, generators, auxiliary equipment in a way that allows for appropriate flows of gas and generation of power. • Responsible for adjusting controls and valves, regulation pressures, and monitoring meters. • Maintain records of meter and gauge readings to determine the temperature, amounts of gas received and dispensed, pressure and consumption rate variations. • Perform equipment inspection during outages or repairs, including field visits where necessary You Will Thrive In This Role If: • 5 plus years working on stationary 4-cycle engines OR experience working on turbine engines • Experience working on Waukesha engines a plus • Passionate about Safety and Quality • Familiarity with heavy industry environments • Task-oriented, very organized and fast-paced • Able to execute strategic and tactical business plans to achieve operational results • Driven to improve existing business processes • Able to communicate clearly and concisely • Able to interact with various workgroups (contractor, technical, management) • Willing to travel up to 80% where Crusoe operates (North Dakota, Montana, Colorado, Utah) • Must have a valid driver license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR) • Reliable transportation to travel when necessary • This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility.
