See More Details >>Overview There are a variety of roles within the maintenance dept., the main objective is to maintain plant in excellent running condition to avoid any downtime. While performing the duties the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces at varied heights; moving mechanical parts; fast paced warm/cool environment. The employee must work with chemicals and solvents and have the ability to operate moving vehicles. Positions require standing or walking the entire shift, the use of stairs, and the use of PPE which is required in all areas of the facility. (Not an all-inclusive list) Responsibilities • May operate heavy machinery • Use a variety of tools in order to repair, retrieve and maintain all equipment in working order • Conduct daily set-up of area and troubleshoot • Working around or with machinery and power sources such as electricity • Ensuring safety, food safety and quality • Cleanliness and housekeeping • Maintaining a safe working environment Qualifications • Ability to read and understand work order • Ability to perform basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division • Knowledge of basic tools and maintenance related subjects • Willingness to participate on various teams such as HAZMAT • Must be able to work rotating days and weekends • Must be able to work B or C Shift
