About the Job As an entry-level Mechanical Engineer you will work with a team of engineers on client projects involving mechanical design and analysis for modifications to the physical structures of nuclear power plants. As you begin to learn the requirements of the role and you will apply your academic knowledge of materials, structural analysis, structural steel design and reinforced concrete to projects for various clients. • In this position you will work with a team of engineers on projects involving modifications to existing nuclear power generation plants and associated plant mechanical systems. • Under the mentorship of senior engineering staff you will participate in the design and preparation of design packages for nuclear power plants. • You will work with other engineering disciplines in the completion of client projects. • Read design drawings and technical specifications. • Prepare project deliverables including engineering calculations, specifications, and evaluations. • Learn how to use and apply industry codes and government regulations along with discipline-specific computer analysis codes. • Occasional travel to client and plant site locations for design reviews, construction coordination and field verification of designs as required. Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or associated field from ABET accredited program. • 0-2 years of related practical work experience. • Academic and/or applied knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer. • Familiarity of tools and principals involved in the production of technical plans, fabrication drawings, and models. • Experience with CAD Software • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship now or in the future. Maintenance (Mechanical) Technician

Job Description: The Maintenance (Mechanical) Technician is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems within a plastic manufacturing environment. This role ensures minimal downtime and optimal performance of injection molding machines, extruders, robotic systems, conveyors, and other production equipment. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct maintenance, Changeover, repair, and mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production machinery, including injection molding and extrusion equipment. • Handle electrical systems ranging from 24V to 480V. • Perform preventive maintenance on machines, tools, and facility systems according to established schedules. • Diagnose and repair issues with auxiliary equipment such as dryers, chillers, grinders, and temperature controllers. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and machine performance. • Assist in machine setup, installation, and modification of production lines or equipment. • Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend improvements. • Respond promptly to production downtime or maintenance requests to minimize disruption. • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and OSHA regulations. • Work with vendors or outside contractors for specialized repairs or upgrades as needed. • Keep maintenance work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training in industrial maintenance preferred. • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a plastic manufacturing environment strongly preferred. • Working knowledge of injection molding, blow molding, or extrusion machines. • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals. • Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills. • Familiarity with PLC systems, drives, and sensors is a plus. • Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in elevated or confined spaces. • Available to work 12-hour shifts, weekend, and overtime as needed. Preferred Skills: • Experience with equipment from manufacturers like Engel, Husky, Arburg, or Cincinnati. • Understanding of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) or CMMS systems. • Certification in electrical or mechanical maintenance (e.g., HVAC, electrical journeyman) is a plus. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
