This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. What You’ll Do: • Perform maintenance and repairs to the mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems. Keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned. • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety. • Maintain an energy management program. Ensure all systems operate in the most efficient manner. • Assist with the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life. Perform emergency repairs as needed. • Follow departmental policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. Maintain a clean and safe workplace. • Review inpsection to building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client. • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. • Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams. • Work within broad guidelines and policies. • Explain difficult or sensitive information. What You’ll Need: • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Universal CFC certification is preferred. Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions. Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred. • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations. Equipment Engineer (GL6)

Foxconn Wisconsin is seeking an Equipment Engineer that will work as part of a team to install, configure, and maintain automated systems for use in a manufacturing environment and collaborate with departmental and corporate leadership to determine existing automation capabilities and future opportunities. Job Description Summary The Staybridge Suites – Racine Mount Pleasant has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chief Engineer for a brand-new property! The 88 suite extended stay property is located at 7430 Washington Ave. in beautiful Mount Pleasant, WI. Opening soon, the hotel will be the premier extended stay property in the market. The Chief Engineer sets the tone for providing exceptional service levels for our guests. We expect leaders to focus on creating amazing moments for guests and team members and dig deep to find ways to create success for their team. The Chief Engineer is responsible for managing and supervising the implementation of all aspects of the maintenance and repairs of the physical systems of the building and equipment. The Chief Engineer is responsible for coordinating and supervising the preventative maintenance of guest rooms and public areas. The Chief Engineer is also responsible for ensuring compliance with company, local state and federal codes and regulations. The role’s primary responsibility is to help drive results through their entire department. Job Description Principle duties and responsibilities (Essential Functions) include: • Operational/Functional: • * Manage day-to-day operations of the engineering areas and staff to ensure the quality and standards are meeting the expectations of the customers and employees. • Implement and supervise the preventative maintenance of Mechanical/Electrical areas, Public areas and Guest Rooms per established standards and schedules. • Confer with vendors to obtain product and service information such as price, availability and delivery schedule. • Process purchase requests for items needed by the Engineering department. • Manage contractors while onsite, supervise work as needed and make sure work was properly performed. • Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities and recommend appropriate service improvements such as renovation, painting or furniture replacements. • Ensure the building exterior is clean and well maintained. • Communicate with department leaders about maintenance needs and work orders and ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner. • Ensure pool is serviced, including making sure chemicals are properly adjusted and filters are cleaned. • Perform maintenance and repairs on malfunctioning systems and equipment • Coordinate, supervise, and perform preventive maintenance work. • Order, receive supplies and maintain inventory of supplies and operating equipment. • Review guest satisfaction survey results with employees. • * Ensure all Sonesta safety and sanitation standards are adhered to. • Respond to guest complaints and ensure proper follow-up is completed. • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming. • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned. • Strategy and Planning: • Ensure compliance with all service contracts.
