Responsibilities: • Prepare, design, and detail drawings and specifications for a variety of tools, simple dies, fixtures, gauges, machine attachments, and more • Reverse Engineer the original product design/concepts utilizing sketches and instruction to determine machine capabilities and specifications, then apply those original ideas • Create and detail complex tool and die drawings • Prepare material lists for all materials used to construct tooling, machines and suggest vendors • Develop and troubleshoot manufacturing processes and quality inspection requirements • Assist the Engineering and Sales Coordinator in filing and mining customer files, part prints, tool drawings, inspection reports, routings, as well as specifications and quotes • Assist in the interpretation of customers’ drawings and layout of the necessary material and processes for estimating costs and improving profitability Qualifications: • Associate's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience (3-5 years) in a Manufacturing Engineer role • Preference for 5 years of experience in Tool and Die Design, including Stamping, Forming, and CAM • Strong Design experience utilizing CAD software • Excellent organizational skills • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across varying levels of the organization and with external customers and vendors • Versed in Excel and Word Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift • Monday to Friday Education: • Associate (Preferred) Experience: • Manufacturing Engineering (Tool & Die): 5 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
