Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer. Candidate will train under current Engineering Vice President. Responsibilities include developing drawings, routings and BOMs for custom engineered products. Responsibilities • Create and detail drawings using Master Cam. • Create and maintain routings and bills of material. • Create work orders showing step by step manufacturing instructions. • Interface with customers, interpret their needs into a product. • Interface with manufacturing, purchasing and suppliers to understand material and assembly cost. • Optimize designs to minimize cost. • Interface with sales team to help develop cost. • Become the go-to person to assist with questions from manufacturing. • Maintain standard processes for the Engineering department. Minimum Requirements • Mechanical aptitude, familiarity with tools and machinery. • Experience in designing CNC and welded components in a CAD system. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Able to solve problems in a team environment. • Self-starter with a willingness and ambition to learn from others and seek out information. • Strong sense of accountability with a can-do attitude. • Experience or training in LEAN manufacturing tools and process improvement. Preferred Skills • Associate degree or Trade school training in a technical discipline. • Experience working in the stainless steel, high purity component market. • Experience designing machined and welded components. • Able to create drawings in Master CAM. This is a long-term contract opportunity with our top client in Elkhorn, NB. Pay for this role is $40/hr with 40+hrs weekly and some weekends. Responsibilities • The Maintenance Engineer will respond and assist in recovery and repair of utilities and production equipment. • Troubleshoot failed electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components using basic and advanced problem-solving techniques. • Utilize various levels of test equipment up to and including predictive maintenance tools. • Complete assigned preventative maintenance actions per OEM and engineering specifications, including minor and major overhauls, calibration, detailed inspections, and basic cleaning and lubricating. • Perform basic and advanced corrective action repairs supporting safety, quality, and equipment reliability. • Perform tolerance-specific fabrication tasks using shop equipment such as mills, lathes, drill press, and welding methods. • Utilize computerized maintenance management software such as SAP to review assigned work, generate work requirements, and document detailed work completion. Qualifications The ideal candidate possesses the following additional experience: • 3+ years of maintenance experience (Boilers, HVAC, PLC electrical controls) • Experience with SAP • Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems, test equipment (amp meter, megger), familiarity with electrical standards, NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, CMMS and control systems • Experience with Arch Flash, 3rd grade boilers • Certifications from Nebraska for OSHA, and/or Journeyman electrician or HVAC license • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required Please apply if you are ready to work ASAP with a fast-growing company.
