Job Summary The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatic circuity to support production schedules. Duties and Responsibilities • Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic circuitry, and more according to directions. • Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, and builds to those specifications. • Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned task. • Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies. • Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed. • Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor. • Maintain a safe clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. • Performs other duties as assigned. Commitments and Location • Fulltime role based in Dixon, IL • Day Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 5pm • Overtime may be required Benefits Include: • Eligible for the Sewer Equipment Productivity Bonus, paid quarterly. Average 2024 payout was $7/hour.
