Responsibilities If an employee has the aptitude and drive they can advance to a project management role. This position is available due to continued company growth due to demand for company products. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows: • Creating detailed, custom 3D SolidWorks drawings • Taking direction from and working closely with project managers and project engineers • Creating bills of materials The background of the successful candidate must include the following: • 1 or more years of 3D SolidWorks design experience with sanitary piping in the biotechnology, food and/or pharmaceutical industries • An engineering degree (or an additional year of 3D SolidWorks design experience) • A proficiency or a willingness to gain proficiency with electrical controls and fluid mechanics • A solid work history • A US citizen or possess a green card • A residence within 45 minutes

Mechanical Production Engineer

Shift 1 (United States of America) Coperion is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Production Engineer to join our dynamic team in Whitewater, WI. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of equipment design for our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical design principles, production methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively in a demanding environment. Work You’ll Do: • Design and develop equipment for material handling, weighing, and feeding applications • Create 3D models, design fabrication drawings, and specifications for customer, manufacturing, and vendor utilization . • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and purchasing . • Implement design changes and modifications to enhance productivity and reduce waste. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute innovative ideas to enhance production capabilities. • The role involves periodic visits to the onsite manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery and equipment. • This position may require occasional travel to other company-owned manufacturing sites, supplier facilities, or customer locations. Basic Qualifications: • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or Inventor preferred). • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
