QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in engineering required; Mechanical Engineering preferred. • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. • Experience creating or reviewing production manufacturing drawings, including weldments and machining; GD&T experience is a plus. • Experience with hydraulic systems such as HPUs and winches is an advantage. • Experience designing mechanical equipment based on functional requirements, stress analysis, materials selection, manufacturability, serviceability, and installation interface requirements. • Proficient in classical analysis methods and in writing equipment specifications. • Understanding of, or experience with, finite element analysis (FEA).
